   Summary

   Why was Kyle's smile so beautiful? He had endlessly tried to convince Stan it wasn't (or rather, he wasn't), pointing out the scars around his mouth as evidence, but to no avail. Stan still found him the prettiest person he'd ever met, scars and all. Scars, after all, meant that sure, you went through something shitty, but you also survived it, you healed. He found that beautiful, in a way. Stan hadn't hurt himself in around two years, now looking at his scarred arms made him incredibly proud of himself, as they were a reminder he'd prevailed. He was alive, fuck it! And more often than not, he wanted to stay that way.
