Astral Express crew often plan many special events to nicely spend their time together. Be it watching movies together, playing board games, going on special trips to places they picked together, taking part in March special fashion show and many, many more.
This time as they agreed before Express crew picked a day for specially made family dinner. And it wasn't supposed to be an regular dinner made only by Pom-Pom, but dinner made together by every crew member.
During their preparing meeting they not only planned this special feast, but also who will prepare what. That's how Welt, Himeko and Pom-Pom were chosen to make main dishes and drinks and Caelus, March and Dan Heng were the ones responsible for desserts and side dishes.
That's how trio ended up in March room with her fluffy plushies in their arms, planing what they should make.
"Alright, I made a list of things we could make, take a look and tell me what you two think." Said March after handing them her specially made hand written list.
"March aren't those only sweets?" Asked finally Caelus after fastly looking through paper.
"Caelus is right there is only written huge list of sweets that you like. Making all of them at once will take too much time also we will never be able to finish all of them before their date will expire."
"Yes and we need some side dishes as well." Added Caelus.
"I know, I know, but when I was starting writing my ideas down I was thinking more and more about my favourites and ended up with this." Said March and rubbed her head.
"Then we should chose some ideas from our lists, so let's look through them and then vote for some, also it would be better if we chose ones we will be able to make." Proposed Dan Heng.
"I'm fine with it." Said Caelus.
"Me to."
Like this passed their evening planing what to make for their special dinner. After some arguments and then voting they finally chosen some easy enough, delicious dishes from everyone lists and decided to go next day for shopping, after that they spilt up to their own activities.
As agreed they met next day after breakfast in Parlor Car and went shopping. In the meantime they went to some shops that wasn't planned because Caelus and March wanted to get some snacks before their big cooking and to buy some kitchen utensils for Pom-Pom that they were talking about for some time.
When they came back they went straight to the kitchen and after proper preparation and putting on aprons they spit their roles and started to make their part of dishes.
Everything was going good they already finished side dishes and were getting ready to make desserts, but then flour slipped and went flying everywhere.
"We should clean it." Said Dan Heng.
"First we need to finished cooking we will take care of this later." Waved him off March.
"True also we will make it dirty during baking, so it pointless to do that now." Add Caelus.
Dan Heng sighed and went back to cutting fruits.
Everyone came back to work peacefully until March mixed her cake formula to strongly and it ended up spilling some on Caelus.
"Ops sorry it was..." Before she was able to finish some of purple cream that Caelus was taking care of ended up on her nose.
"Now we are even." Said happily Caelus.
"Caelus you little..." March took some flour that was laying around and threw it at not expecting contracts silver haired man.
That how war in kitchen started, Caelus and March were throwing at each other some of ingredients and Dan Heng was trying to dodge and make them stop.
When big amout of cream flew in black haired man direction he fastly dodged, but unfortunately it hit someone else.
In entrance to the kitchen standed fuming Conductor with purple cream all over their hat and face. It immediately got silent in the kitchen.
"What are you three doing?! Clean this mess fast and leave kitchen before you made even bigger mess!"
"Pom-Pom we're..."
Before they were able to finish conductor already left room. They fastly, but thoroughly cleaned kitchen and finished their dishes, then with new kitchen utensils that they bought for Pom-Pom, they went to find still fuming conductor in Parlor Car.
"Pom-Pom we're really sorry, we cleaned whole kitchen." Said March.
"Yes also Dan Heng was trying to stop us, so at least don't be angry at him. Also we bought you those. We hope you will not be angry anymore."
Pom-Pom eyes sparkled while they noticed utensils that they wanted for so long, but fastly coughed and tried to compose themselves.
"I will check on kitchen state later, but for now I forgive you, but next time wait for special day or planet for food fight, then you will get specially prepared place and special supplements, so you will not waste real food."
"Wait there is event and even place for this?" Asked suprised March and Caelus.
"I think I saw something about this in data bank."
"Yes if you want there is special easy to wash room in Express for this type of games be it 'food' or easy to wash safe paint, so don't do this nowhere else. Now let's prepare table for our dinner."
Trio helped conductor with preparations and then finished last things with their desserts and side dishes. Soon whole crew was able to sit around big table full or beautifully smelling, delicious food and share different stories that happened to them lately. And ofcourse it couldn't go without Caelus and March asking for when they will be able to get real 'food' fight as their crew event.
