Fang’s tipsiness

Summary:

Fang clung onto Tan’s hand, which was unusual as it tended to be the other way around.

”Of course, I won’t leave if you don’t want me to” Tan obliged with a secretive smile. This was not the first time for him to see Fang drunk, he knew what was about to come.

Aka Another party in Peems house ends up with tipsy Fang and as always caring Tan

Work Text:

“Let’s get this party started!” Pun yelled loudly. So Chain quickly put his hand over his mouth. “Pun, not the whole neighborhood needs to know that - Ouch!” just as he started correcting his boyfriend’s behavior his intentions were interrupted by Pun biting his hand like a naughty dog. Probably a naughty penguin.

At Peem’s house they met once again. Fang wondered what they were celebrating now, probably nothing. The celebration was just an excuse to call the whole friend group, they always did it like this. It was a wholesome friendship he accidentally appeared in.

Even though he had to think about his social battery from time to time, he was so so thankful for having amazing friends like them.

This evening was just a slightly different, not for everyone though. It was only that Tan needed to wake up at normal time tomorrow.

Tan insisted on joining their friends for at least a couple hours, they can return home anytime before 1 in the morning. So that his precious Tan could get at least seven hours of sleep.

Fang mentioned that he didn’t insist on going if that collided with his boyfriend’s timetable. But who was he fooling, Tan was eager to come under any circumstances.

And those circumstances were that Tan couldn’t drink, he needed to pick up his mom from airport in the morning.
Tan wasn’t sulking or anything, he was there to fully enjoy time with his friends, it wasn’t about alcohol, but about them.

Fang found that deeply touching, but it wasn’t anything he wouldn’t expect from such a lovely creature.

But now he could drink all he wanted. Fang wasn’t the type to drink much or to drink often.

He wouldn’t admit it, but the metal aftertaste of alcohol was disgusting to him. He’d never drink just to enjoy the liquid.
So these time to time beers of wines that Tan brought home sometimes, usually ended up being drunk by Tan only.

Fang didn’t have anything personal against alcohol. It was just when he drank, he wanted to drink enough to quiet his thoughts and to be tipsy. And he wouldn’t feel comfortable to be in such a state in front of people he didn’t trust entirely.

Fang looked around the pretty living room.

The school had been tough lately, now he needed to relax a little.

“Tan could you be my bartender and make me something to drink?” Fang asked as Tan was already standing close to the kitchen.

”I will be your anything Teerak!” Tan exclaimed loudly and blew him a kiss. Fang rolled his eyes just like others, especially Phum.

Even when he was dating Peem and had his happy cheesy relationship, he was still protective over his older brother.

”P’Fang, I’ll help you get rid of him, just give me a signal” Phum joked.

Fang just shook his head, when a loud noise was heard over the room.

”Toey! Why are you so clumsy” Q nagged his foolish boy as he knocked over some books.

Toey just laughted innocently and run away so he wouldn’t have to clean the mess. “Toey! Come back and clean it!” Q run after the younger boy, he caught him by the stairs. Pulled him to the ground (very carefully so that Toey wouldn’t get hurt) and began to tickle him.

“P’Q, P’Q Sto- Stopp!” Toey tried to defend himself. Fang smiled to himself, he was fond of these fools. Chain cleaned the books in the meanwhile.

“Here you go Fang! It is gin and tonic” Tan handed Fang his ordered drink.

Fang sniffed it, it was strong.

“I bet you can’t chug it!” Peem dared him.

Without missing a beat, Fang parted his lips at the edge of the glass and begun drinking.

Everyone cheered. After the last gulp he remained stonefaced for just a second, then he turned around to make a disgusted face.

Ew, so strong.

”So cute” Tan whispered to him and Fang pushed him away pretending to be annoyed.

The evening continued with a lot of loud conversations, many interesting and embarrassing stories. Liquor was being poured and disappeared quickly from everyone glasses.

Everyone besides Tan was now at least a little drunk, and Fang? Fang had more than enough.

Fang went quiet, not saying anything, he moved his eyes around. Watching every detail as if he was blind until now. His reactions were slower, his gaze traced the room. The noises, the behaviors, simply everything.

Fang began to cutely rub his eyes from time to time, but nothing more showed. Until..

”Tan, stay here please” the loud pleading voice caught attention of a few people in the room.

Tan was about to bring some chips and refill some drinks, but his boyfriend’s voice sounded so desperate.

Fang clung onto Tan’s hand, which was unusual as it tended to be the other way around.

”Of course, I won’t leave if you don’t want me to” Tan obliged with a secretive smile. This was not the first time for him to see Fang drunk, he knew what was about to come.

Fang pat on his boyfriend’s thighs as he slowly laid on them, sleepy rubbing his eyes he made himself comfortable on Tan’s lap.

He sneaked one of his hand around Tan to find his hand, when their fingers touched, Fang grabbed Tan’s hand and pulled it close to him.

”Such a cute couple! So cuddly, Didn’t know that Fang had such a side! He never showed it when scolding me!” Pun complained as he stumbled around the room.

Chain was making sure Pun wouldn’t fall, by keeping his hands around his waist and escorting him to a nearby chair.

Fang lightly caressed Tan’s knee with his fingertips and in exchange Tan was playing with Fang’s hair.

Everytime Tan moved just a slightly, Fang had only one thought on his mind.

His heart would shatter into pieces if he couldn’t be anywhere near his boyfriend now.

All these feelings he always felt, but barely shown were in the spotlight right now.

The group continued with their funny conversation and once a while Fang loudly added something. Sometimes sassy, sometimes funny, but a few times he even missed the topic.

What Fang felt now was a simple raw happiness. Being taken care of by his boyfriend, surrounded by friends with not a single worry in his mind!

He felt warm and so grateful that he felt it in every single inch of his body.

”I appreciate everything here so much! Thank you for being here for me!” Fang blabbered, his eyes were squirming, but the words were sincerely from his heart.

”Aahh, We love you too Fang!” Pun yelled stumbling across the room to give him a hug.

Which caused a chain reaction that suddenly everyone was hugging drunken Fang.

They must have looked like a clowns, only one person here was sober and he was silently laughing at this bizarre situation.

”Okay enough enough! I might get jealous” Tan joked chasing everyone away from Fang.

Fang’s memory from this moment is a little hazy, but not so long after Q and Toey took a taxi to their condo. Somewhere in the meantime someone handed him a piece of bread, so that he wouldn’t feel sick. He nibbled on it leaving crumbs everywhere…

Chain and Pun would be sleeping over and it was just time for Tan and Fang to leave too now.

Fang’s drunkenness mixed with sleepiness made him adorable, but also unable to think properly.

Tan slowly pushed Fang to sit and stood up to leave.

”Tan *sob* Tan don’t leave me na, I need you” Fang pouted so sadly that It could make Tan’s heart shatter into pieces.

”Teerak, stop it, we’re just going home, TOGETHER” Tan explained calmly putting extra emphasis on the last word.

Fang lit up as he held Tan’s hand again.

“Two idiots so in love” Peem stated with a smile. Phum smacked his shoulder.

“Don’t talk about my brother like that, Kitten” he warned Peem with not so serious tone as he kissed the place he smacked just a second ago.
“Aw, you also had more than enough didn’t you?” Peem teased his boyfriend, completely ignoring he was called Kitten again. He might kick him for that once they sober up.

And just like that cute sleepy Fang clinged onto his lover. As if inch of not touching their skin would mean instant death to him.

Tan said his goodbyes and walked Fang to the car.

He sat his passenger princess and just as he left to sit on the other side Fang whined and complained.

”Fang, My Teerak, don’t worry I am still here. We’re driving home, okay?” Tan said with honey covered voice. He felt so fond of this fragile adorable version of Fang. He leaned closer and pat his soft hair.

Fang nodded, he was so out of it.

”Teerak, if you still insist on touching me, you can keep your hand here, because I cannot hold your hand now, I need it to drive” Tan pulled Fang’s hand onto his thigh. Fang rested his slim fingers there and never planned to let go.

Tan gave Fang just a quick peck on the cheek and Fang just smiled absentmindedly.

Oh, hopefully he won’t pull his hand higher, Tan thought to himself.

”Fang loves Tan” Fang gazed at Tan with his half lidded eyes.

”Tan loves Fang too. I love you so so much.” Tan’s heart was overflowing with affection.

”Let’s just head home now and we can cuddle once we arrive, okay?”

Fang nodded so enthusiastically that it made Tan chuckle.

Notes:
