Eirenthia was consumed by chaos as demons from Erebus possessed its people, driving them to madness and violence. The tribes, once thriving, descended into despair, and the land was bathed in blood and fear.
Hearing their cries, Sylpharion, the god of nature, harmony and life, descended in the form of a majestic stag. With his light, he purified the people and banished the darkness. However, knowing he could not remain, Sylpharion bestowed a sacred gift: animal guides. These spirit companions, chosen for each child at the age of five, would protect their souls from demonic corruption and reflect their inner strengths, binding them to nature and balance.
From that day forward, Eirenthia thrived in peace, guided by Sylpharion’s blessing. The Ceremony of Choosing became a cherished tradition, and the bond between humans and their guides ensured the demons of Erebus could never again plunge the land into chaos.
