Work Text:
Atsumu was sure the scenic view was the most mesmerizing thing he had seen in a long while.
The sun was slowly sinking behind the towering peaks of large mountains. Streams of water rushed from these peaks, roaring and cascading in the form of waterfalls, melting in a serene, glimmering pond below.
Atsumu found himself breathing the sweet scent of lavender, thick in the crisp natural breeze combing through the lush green grass of the meadow. He slid his hand over a short patch of grass, feeling the warmth of the earth pulsing beneath his fingertips.
Without thinking, he plucked a blade of grass. Holding it between his thumb and forefinger, the blond twirled it absent-mindedly. The action felt natural, something his curious inner child compelled him to do.
But as he watched the grass twist between his fingers, Atsumu noticed facets that had gone simply unnoticed by the obtuse eyes of a child. The way it still stood firmly and tall in his hold. Its surface was velvety to touch, but one careless mistake and its sharp end might cut through skin and even draw blood. The sharp contrast of soft but not weak captivated him in an instant.
Atsumu couldn’t help but smile.
Contrasts. He’d always been a sucker for them. No matter whether he saw them in a grass blade or people.
Atsumu halted his ministrations when a particular twirl angled the blade under the sunlight such that its green color tinted with gold. Atsumu’s fingers tightened around the stem, his pulse quickening as he realized how it mirrored Kageyama.
The light glittering at the tip reminded him of the excited gleam he had grown familiar to see in Kageyama’s blue eyes. His boyfriend has the same sharpness, the same intensity. He was bold and fierce. The kind of person who’d stand tall in the teeth of adversaries. And still, in all of that, there was a softness to him—a mellow heart that stayed wrapped inside a prickly shell. It was something Atsumu couldn’t resist, so much so that he didn’t think twice before giving his heart to the other on a silver platter.
His smile widened when he realized how wax-poetic that thought was. Atsumu dropped the grass leaf he’d been holding and gazed up at the sky only to find the sun halfway through its dip behind the mountains. He watched as it doused the evening sky with its rich orange and red tones, giving a soft lilac glow. It felt like the kind of beauty you only saw in your dreams.
Stretching his legs, he let his body fall back against the earth. He folded his hands behind his head and let out a deep sigh—not from exhaustion but from a strange peace in his heart. In that moment, everything was exactly as it should be: the beautiful sunset, the calmness of the scenery in front of him, and the comfort of his company.
He turned his face to look at the person in question and was struck by yet another beautiful sight. Kageyama was relaxing on his left side in his high school’s gym attire, much like Atsumu. His head was cushioned on his hand while his other arm rested on his stomach as he soaked up the sun with his eyes closed.
Atsumu’s gaze stroked the other’s serene face, and he could not look away. Where anyone else might see just another high schooler in Kageyama, Atsumu saw someone breathtakingly lovely with sun-blushed cheeks, popsicle-stained lips, and pollen-dusted fingers.
His heart racing like a wild bird in his chest, Atsumu propped his head on one elbow and peered down at his boyfriend. His throat felt dry—too dry—to utter a word while his hands ached with the need to touch and explore.
The sudden urge compelled Atsumu to reach out before he could stop, his hand brushing over Kageyama’s ruddy cheeks. The skin beneath his fingers was so warm, even warmer than the earth they were lying on. Kageyama leaned into the touch, nudging Atsumu’s knuckles with his cheek like a satisfied cat.
The peculiar gesture filled his chest with a mix of pride and happiness. Moments like these made Atsumu’s heart ache in the best way because Kageyama only let himself relax this way when he was truly happy. Truly content. It made Atsumu smile every time it happened, just like it did right now.
Kageyama, probably irritated by the stretched silence, blinked his eyes open. The curtains of his long lashes parted, revealing the deep blues, and Atsumu’s heart stuttered. Those eyes . . . they always sucked him right in; the color reminding him of oceans, vast and bottomless like Atsumu had seen on TV. He’d always dreamed of diving into their deepest parts, unearthing mysteries and all the hidden secrets. Just like he wanted to drown himself in those cobalt blue eyes, so he could learn everything there was to know about Kageyama.
“What is it? Everything okay?”
Atsumu swallowed hard, trying to shake himself from the sudden dizziness. “Tobio, has anyone ever told ya that yer eyes look pretty in sunlight?”
Kageyama snorted, lips twitching a bit. “That’s what you were thinking about? Are you trying to be romantic?”
And yes, he loved the other too much because who finds a snorting grown man attractive? He had it bad; that much was clear.
Their eyes locked, and for a second, the world around them fell away. Kageyama, confused and even a little unsure, met Atsumu’s gaze head-on. But just like he always did, he blinked away, lowering his lashes and looking off to the side, as if to hide the pink flush blooming on his face.
Atsumu grinned smugly. He knew his boyfriend too well.
“Ya blush every time I compliment ya, and yet I’m the one tryin’ ta be romantic?” He teased as he leaned in to whisper in Kageyama’s ear.
“I’m not blushing!” Kageyama retorted as a deeper shade of pink spread across his cheeks and the tip of his ears. “It’s just because of the sunlight,” he grumbled, burying his chin in the collar of his black gym jacket. He was trying to act tough, but the small pout on his lips was undeniable.
Atsumu’s heart did a flip.
He adored this—the way Kageyama’s face would turn scarlet whenever Atsumu tried to initiate something remotely intimate. It made him want the other in ways that would leave him embarrassed if he ever said it out loud to Kageyama.
He controlled himself, but sights like these were making him feel addicted. It was pathetic, really. His body had stopped listening to him. It reacted to the littlest things Kageyama did. Racing heartbeats, clammy hands, and weak knees had become common occurrences whenever they were close.
The worst part was Kageyama being utterly oblivious to how much he affected Atsumu. Well, that was mostly true. But there were moments when Kageyama seemed to know —when he acted like a smug hotshot and seemed to enjoy the miserable glances Atsumu sent his way. No, scratch that. He totally enjoyed them.
Yet, he could tell that right now, Kageyama was blissfully unaware of the effect his flushed skin had on Atsumu.
It was so maddening.
Kageyama was watching the sunset, completely immersed in his own little world while every shift in his soft features made Atsumu’s poor heart pound faster and quicker. Atsumu needed to touch him. He had to get his hands on him, or mouth, or lips, or even teeth for that matter. So, to take his revenge—for his thunderously thumping heart, for his inability to focus on anything other than Kageyama—Atsumu leaned in. His lips brushed against the soft curve of Kageyama’s right earlobe. A soft nibble that sent a wave of heat flashing through his own chest. Deep down, Atsumu knew that this feeble excuse of retaliation was as convincing as Kageyama lying about his blush. He was doing it simply because he could and that made it all the more difficult to control himself.
A gasp left Kageyama’s lips as Atsumu gave a not-so-gentle tug on the erogenous zone with his teeth. It was something he’d discovered one evening like this, in the middle of their make-out sessions. Since then, he’d made sure to use the information to tease the other whenever he could. A small, satisfied smile curled on Atsumu’s lips when he felt the shiver run through Kageyama’s body.
“Was this because of the sun too, Tobio?” Atsumu whispered.
Kageyama pulled his face away slightly to glare at him, his cheeks flushing even deeper, a shade darker. Atsumu only smirked wider, the challenging glint in the baby blues making his pulse run faster. The other scoffed and turned to look down at the grass as if it was far more interesting than whatever game they were playing. Atsumu couldn’t help it. He laughed, his heart light like a bird taking a flight.
Fucking cute.
His laugh died down in his throat embarrassingly quickly when he took in the pale features of the raven glistening like gold under the sunlight. The wind was delicately ruffling his dark hair, tangling itself in the strands, making them fall on his forehead. All of it stole his breath. Atsumu’s fingers moved and brushed the fine strands away, his fingertips touching the warm exposed skin.
Kageyama’s long lashes grazed the soft skin of the flushed cheeks before blue eyes fluttered toward him. They looked downright tender, unguarded—something he got a glimpse of on rare occasions like these. His heartbeat skipped. His attention refused to shift elsewhere, completely enamored by the other.
Tobio was . . . beautiful.
So achingly beautiful .
Atsumu’s hand moved almost of its own accord, cupping Kageyama’s cheek. His thumb stroked the sun-kissed skin, tracing gentle lines on the delicate curve of his cheekbone. Kageyama didn’t pull away in shyness, didn’t retreat. Instead, Atsumu’s touch was welcomed with flushed skin and soft nudges of his head while his eyes lingered on Atsumu. The warmth in his skin seeped into Atsumu’s palm, sending an electric thrill up his arm.
"Yer so beautiful," Atsumu hushed in awe, the words tumbling out of his mouth like a confession. "I could just look at ya forever."
It was the truth. There was no exaggeration in his statement. Just raw, innocent love.
His words might have been too honest, too open for Kageyama, who only ever saw Atsumu’s affections through teasing and sarcasm because he stilled. Atsumu wasn’t exactly expecting a response, but the reaction intrigued him. The way Kageyama stiffened in his arms, the pink blush adorning his face, and the tightly pressed lips—all of it was a small crack in that tough exterior, and Atsumu couldn’t help but push further.
More. Give me more.
“Also, yer face is kinda glowin’ today.”
He let his thumb trail gently over Kageyama’s bottom lip, his touch light and lingering.
Left and right.
Left.
Right.
Kageyama’s mouth parted slightly in an almost unconscious movement, in an invitation or maybe a reflex. Either way, it sent a surge of heat through Atsumu’s chest like a fire spreading quickly, painfully. His eyes flicked back to the blues, dark and intense, but before he could say anything more, a new thought tumbled out.
“Honestly? I’m a little jealous of all the people who saw ya today, y’know?” he said with a laugh. But his insides twisted weirdly when he thought about people admiring his boyfriend with not-so-good intentions. His boyfriend was too naïve to understand how two-faced people were these days! Only Atsumu should be privy to all these adorable reactions.
Kageyama’s eyes narrowed in an obvious attempt to mask the effect Atsumu was having on him. “What? You’re so weird today.”
Atsumu chuckled under his breath, watching the other trying to hide the hitch in his breath at the praise. His shoulders were tense while he gazed at Atsumu as he would look at a math problem that baffled him.
Atsumu smirked as he leaned in, unable to resist the pull of the other’s proximity.
“Don’t you look at me like that, eh?” He teased, his breath warm against Kageyama’s skin. “Ya know, yer eyes are like those large, deep blue oceans.” With their mouths only a hair’s breadth apart, he whispered, “I’d drown in them if ya keep that up. What would’ja do then, huh?”
Kageyama didn’t say anything, but his gaze flicked to Atsumu’s lips, a dark flicker passing in his eyes. It only lasted for the briefest of moments before he quickly looked away, retreating behind that stubborn, prickly front. Atsumu watched as he dug his fingers into the grass, curling tightly like he was trying to steady himself against the storm of emotions brewing inside him.
Despite how close his resolve was to snap like an elastic band, Atsumu enjoyed watching Kageyama’s discomfort with the compliments. He could feel the tension in the air, thick and almost suffocating. It excited him. He fanned the flames even higher and said with a smirk, “And the way you set the ball, Tobio? Never seen anythin’ like that.”
Kageyama’s jaw tightened as he plucked the soft grass out of the earth. He was trying to act like no part of this conversation was affecting him. But Atsumu saw it. The quickening of his pulse in the neck. The shallow breaths. The gulps of nervousness. Atsumu saw through the facade and watched Kageyama’s body betray his calm demeanor.
“Yer cute when ya try to act tough, y’know that?” Atsumu murmured, but Kageyama didn’t reply. Instead, he subtly ducked his head even lower in his jacket’s collar, hiding more of his features, but not enough to shield him from Atsumu’s watchful eyes.
Atsumu’s grin widened.
He couldn’t help himself. “Sometimes I wonder if ya’ve got wings, because—"
“Stop. Just… stop.” The interruption was soft, yet there was an edge to it. “Stop complimenting me. Please, Tsumu,” he muttered, tone almost pleading.
Atsumu couldn’t help but laugh, amused at the bright red face before him.
That seemed like the wrong thing to do because the exasperation on the other’s face turned into defiance. He huffed a breath and tried to twist away from Atsumu, no doubt irritated by the teasing. But Atsumu held him tighter, unwilling to let him escape.
“Alright, alright!” He laughed, holding Kageyama still. “I’m sorry. I’ll stop teasing, okay?”
Kageyama finally stilled, no longer fidgeting, content to be held in Atsumu’s arms again. Though there was still that flush on his face. Atsumu leaned in closer, ready to unleash his final move. “I’ll stop if ya let me kiss ya.”
Kageyama didn’t answer. He only turned his head slightly to look at the sky. Even though his face was still flushed, his body was a little less tense. “Do whatever you want.”
A rush of warm desire, almost against his will, flared up inside Atsumu. Kageyama’s words, spoken no doubt in a passing remark, were like gasoline that turned the blood in his veins to fire. Every cell in his body throbbed with a red-hot need to tell the other what he wanted. Every part of him screamed to touch, to claim, to finally bridge the distance between them.
He felt powerless in the face of the raw attraction he had towards Kageyama.
He reached for his hand, the one still clutched around the grass. Atsumu freed it from the torment by slipping his fingers in between Kageyama’s and squeezed their hands together. A heated silence crackled between them, scattering Atsumu’s thoughts away.
“That’s a very dangerous invitation, Tobio,” he breathed.
Kageyama blinked, clearly a little caught off guard by the change in Atsumu’s tone. He glanced over, a furrow in his brow. A little confused, a little unsure. “You’re not making sense.” There was a slight tremor in his voice, like he didn’t quite understand the weight of Atsumu’s words but felt it anyway.
An urgent need to touch the other crawled under his skin. He couldn’t hold back anymore. “So, can I kiss ya?” he said again, close enough for Kageyama to feel the heat of his breath.
Kageyama hesitated, then finally replied, “Fine, just one kiss, though.”
Atsumu didn’t need to be told twice.
Everything faded away as he leaned in, slowly—so slowly he willed to stop the time—and kissed Kageyama’s chin. He wanted to go straight for the kill, but something within urged him to take it slow, to enjoy each precious second. With their hearts thumping in sync, Atsumu mapped the beautiful face before him with smiles and kisses. A sigh escaped Kageyama when Atsumu’s lips touched his cheek, then his other cheek, and finally the tip of his nose.
A rush of fondness filled his heart when he pulled away slightly, his eyes catching Kageyama’s, which twinkled brightly in the dimmed light of the evening. Kageyama’s gaze flickered between Atsumu’s eyes and lips, looking eager like a puppy, full of anticipation.
The blond felt an electric jolt vibrating his spine when Kageyama’s fingers tightened around his hand, silently urging him closer. Atsumu couldn’t help but smile as he leaned in once more, pressing a soft kiss near the corner of that plump mouth before pulling back entirely.
Kageyama blinked, his eyes wide with disbelief. “That… that’s it?”
Hiding his smile as he rested his head on his palm, Atsumu feigned surprise. “Huh? What do ya mean, Tobio?”
“You’re so annoying. I’m gonna go home; got an early practice tomorrow,” Kageyama grumbled, lightly pushing Atsumu’s chest. He sat abruptly, looking for his sling bag to leave. Uncontrollable warmth flooded his body at the other’s antics, and laughter spilled out. Shaking his head, he looked up and found the sky turning to the same deep shade of his boyfriend’s eyes.
Before Kageyama could move further, Atsumu gently grabbed his arm and tugged him back so that now he was resting over his chest.
“Hey, ‘was just messin’ around,” Atsumu said with a grin, his tone light but fond. Resting his hand on the other’s nape, Atsumu pulled him in to press a soft kiss to his chin. “Yer so feisty today. Makes me wanna tease ya more.”
“Whatever, I have to—"
Palming his cheek, Atsumu slotted their lips together, silencing the protests.
His skin came alive on the first hard press of Kageyama’s lips against his, shooting sparks of desire everywhere in his body. Kageyama hesitated briefly before he reached up to hold Atsumu’s hand, cradling his face. The gentle strokes of those long fingers along the back of his hand made Atsumu smile in the kiss.
When he licked the seam of those pink lips, testing the limits of their intimacy, heat uncurled in his stomach when Kageyama parted his lips. Heat met heat. Heavy and demanding. It was almost too much. The trust. The reciprocated desire. The love.
He felt weightless, atop a cloud, lost in the groans and gasps Kageyama let out as they deepened the kiss. When they finally pulled apart for air, Atsumu smiled, his gaze soft as Kageyama stared at him. He looked a little dazed with his lips still parted while a deep flush sat on his cheeks. He was breathing hard like he’d been running a marathon.
Atsumu’s heart thumped with an erratic rhythm, and he wondered if Kageyama could feel it too. Each nerve ending of his body twitched with raw need when the pink tongue, which had been in his mouth just seconds ago, darted out to lick the plump bottom lip. The heat in those dark eyes flared the heat inside him. It was evident that Kageyama liked his touch, his kisses, his teasing, and his emotionally-stunted ass. Atsumu loved that he liked it. Somehow, it made him feel powerful and so irrevocably in love with Kageyama.
“Ya look hungry for somethin’, eh?” he teased, voice low yet full of meaning. “I know I’m.”
Without waiting for a reply, their lips collided again, this time with more urgency, more need. It was a brazen kiss that held nothing back. Time fell away like an irrelevant thought abandoned for the moment. The intensity of the kiss left Atsumu dizzy, a thrill spreading through him. The wet, hot slide of Kageyama’s tongue drew a long groan out of Atsumu. So, in retaliation, Atsumu threaded his fingers in the dark hair and tugged on it while he gave Kageyama’s lower lip a hungry nibble.
The kiss was hard, then soft, and then hard again.
Atsumu felt cotton-headed as his wild needs tore through him, and he kissed Kageyama senseless. However, whenever he felt in control, Kageyama’s mouth made Atsumu lose all of it. One moment, Kageyama would be trembling; in another, his lips would greedily claim Atsumu’s mouth, taking back that control. A constant push and pull. Atsumu’s mind felt consumed, dizzy from the back-and-forth of emotions that left him breathless.
At some point, Atsumu found himself lying back on the grass bed looking up at Kageyama, whose figure was framed by the vast, starry sky behind him. The shift in their positions brought Kageyama’s chest against his when they kissed, and Atsumu felt the wild thump of his heart echoing in his own. But then the smirking face and dark hungry eyes would claim all his attention, making him forget about everything—the stars, the scenery, and even his god-damned name. All that remained was the heat of their mouths crashing together, over and over again.
Later, they lay together, breathless and tangled, trying to catch their breath. Kageyama sprawled across him, still panting into the crook of Atsumu’s neck. His presence was overwhelming—like he was everywhere at once. His body was a comfortable weight over Atsumu, whereas his hot breath made goosebumps rise all over his body. Absently, Atsumu ran his fingers through his dark hair in a soothing gesture, his gaze lost in the million stars peeking down at them from above.
“Too much, Tobi?” Atsumu murmured, tilting his chin to get a glimpse of his face.
Kageyama simply nodded, burying his face deeper into the neck. Atsumu let out a soft sigh, wrapping his arms around Kageyama’s waist, feeling heat spread through him. “Sorry, lost ma’ control for a bit.” A lazy smile played at his lips as his fingers traced random patterns on Kageyama’s back. “As I always do when it comes ta ya.”
Them making out was not rare, yet this was different—heavier, more intense, more urgent. A soft hum of desire had always trembled between them, but the flames of it had burned brighter today. Kageyama’s trembling body confirmed that Atsumu wasn’t the only one feeling it.
His feelings for Kageyama were unlike anything he’d ever felt for anyone before. At times, he would feel attraction simmering in his veins looking at a girl in school. But he was too invested in volleyball to ever actually act on it.
Kageyama Tobio didn’t give him that luxury.
He often remembered the day that changed everything—the fight with his brother that made him take a different route home to avoid going together. If not for that, he would never have collided with a frantically running Kageyama down a nearly empty street.
Atsumu had been ready to snap at the stranger, still cranky from his fight with Osamu, but stopped short when Kageyama clutched the front of his school uniform. Panting, he’d looked past Atsumu, searching for something, tightening his hold a notch.
The instant their gazes met, Atsumu’s frustration melted instantly. He stared at Kageyama, and every thought evaded his mind. It was embarrassing how long he had gawked at that perfect face. He didn’t know what features to focus on because they all looked beautiful. It’d been a first for him to think another boy was pretty. That evening, he’d reached home in a daze, mind occupied with the images of a blushing Kageyama thanking the blond for saving him from a stray dog running after him.
And that’s how it all began—the inconspicuous visits to Kageyama’s school to catch a glimpse of his face, the flustered greetings and shy smiles exchanged between them across the street, the awkward yet comfortable walks together until they parted ways to their homes, the inescapable pull between them, the hesitant fingers brushing and intertwining with each other, and the curious kisses stolen in the alleyways.
A wave of affection rippled through him as he recalled the old memories.
“I love ya. I really do,” he declared for what felt like a thousandth time since they’d started dating.
Kageyama didn’t respond right away. Instead, he released a shaky breath that warmed Atsumu to his core. His hand that was clutching the shirt wrapped around the curve of Atsumu’s nape. A violent shiver wrecked his spine when soft lips pressed an open-mouth kiss just beneath his pulse point while rough fingers stroked his neck.
It told him all he needed to know—Kageyama felt the same.
If Atsumu’s love could be compared to a raging storm that caught Kageyama in its swirls and whirls, then Kageyama’s love was like a river: quiet, steady, and yet incredibly powerful. The contrast of it, of them , was the only reason he had fallen so hard for the other. He’d loved him from that first moment, and there hadn’t been a day since when Kageyama hadn’t been on his mind. And if remembering someone every single day wasn’t a form of love, then Atsumu hasn’t loved anyone.
But today, something in him just needed to hear the words.
“Come on, baby, say it back,” he coaxed softly.
Kageyama only grumbled in reply, his face still buried in his favorite spot post-make-out.
“Please?” Atsumu’s voice was quiet but full of a plea.
Kageyama must have heard the raw desperation and plea in his voice because he lifted himself just enough to gaze down at Atsumu. The man in his arms had all his heart. He didn’t know if everyone felt like their chest might explode with love every time they looked at someone they loved, but he certainly felt it when he looked at Kageyama. He had no real reference to the crushing feeling of longing in his gut when Kageyama left him for the day; the weight of it made him feel terribly alone.
Overwhelmed by the intensity of Kageyama’s gaze, Atsumu could feel the heat rising in his cheeks. It was like with their positions, their situation was reversed as well. The longer they stared, the more flushed his face became. Still, the softened look in those blue eyes tugged at the corner of Atsumu’s lips.
Stroking his knuckle against the other’s jaw, he said, “Should I say please one more time? Plea—”
Without a word, an eager mouth began planting soft kisses along his face. Atsumu laughed when the other kissed the dimples on his face. He knew Kageyama liked them. He’d seen Kageyama stop mid way during conversations just to stare at them enough times not to notice that. The knowledge broadened his smile, and it must have made the dimples even deeper because Kageyama pecked them several times like he wasn’t able to get enough of them.
It was nothing new, yet it didn’t make it any less special. If anything, Kageyama’s affections completely unraveled him, making a mess of him in the best way.
And, as though on cue, Kageyama’s lips found his.
“I love you too,” Kageyama said against his lips.
The tender gaze had warmth spreading throughout his whole body. He couldn’t help but flip them around in a flash, trapping the other underneath him.
“Good boy!”
The playful smirk on Atsumu’s face only lasted a moment before Kageyama rolled them on the grass bed, getting on top again.
“Haah! I’m not anybody’s good boy! I am a setter!”
Kageyama huffed and puffed, trying to keep his tone serious, but Atsumu saw his lips twitching anyway. Rolling them over until they were laughing and panting underneath the blanket of stars, finally, Atsumu settled on his back while he nestled Kageyama close to his chest.
“Yer not, Tobio?” He grinned mischievously, looking down. “I thought ya were my good boy. My goody-two-shoes. Mine.”
Kageyama rolled his eyes dramatically, his arm resting on Atsumu’s stomach as he wiggled like a cat to become comfortable in his embrace. “You are an idiot,” he said, though the words were laced with affection. Atsumu knew that; it was Kageyama’s pet name for him. Kageyama plopped his head back down on his chest and released a content sigh when Atsumu curled his arm around him.
“Yer so mean ta me sometimes, To.”
Atsumu intertwined their fingers. He gently kissed the back of the raven’s hand, lips brushing over each knuckle. With the cicadas humming their night song and the lavender-scented breeze washing over them, Atsumu realized he didn’t want to end their date yet.
He tilted his head to rest it against the top of Kageyama’s. Pressing a kiss to the crown, he asked, “Hey, Tobio-kun? Wanna watch the stars together?”
“Okay.”
There was a smile in that voice, which vibrated through Atsumu’s chest.
Without a second thought, he shifted again, tugging Kageyama’s waist closer to his own. He pulled him in, shielding him from the cool night air, the warmth of their bodies a stark contrast to the chill that surrounded them. Kageyama squeezed Atsumu’s hand softly, a simple gesture that spoke volumes. I love you too , it said without needing words.
And there they lay, in the stillness of the night, wrapped in each other’s arms, watching the stars above as they whispered their own silent promises to each other.
*THE END*
