The vampire language doesn’t have set genders, meaning there are no set rules and ideas.
Ikigai is known to be a compassionate god, only ever becoming serious once people he cares about are hurt. Mukuro is known as a more serious god, but there exists stories where he relaxes around Ikigai. Shui can be calm and collected but can explode like the sea. Yuen is never seen in the same place twice, and can disappear within seconds. Huǒ has a rough temper, but can be a savior at times. Yume is seductive and mysterious, always appearing with a new lover. Akuma is young and impulsive. He is the son of Mukuro.
PB-Pure Blood
TV-Turned vampire
Pure blood vampires would worship the gods a bit more than turned vampires. PB would have been around for longer so they would have known more about the gods due to being raised in clans rather than in castles. PB would teach TV about the gods and regularly the TV would become priest(ess)s.
Depending on where vampires live, they will worship some gods more. All vampires worship Ikigai, though many times if a vampire worships Mukuro or Akuma they are considered evil and to be watched closely. If a vampire lives near a lake, they will typically worship Shui. If vampires live near a volcano, they would worship Huǒ more.
Many female vampires worship Yume, since they are associated with love and beauty.
Many vampires make human sacrifices, though as years go on it becomes less and less common, due to the strength of humans growing.
TURNING
If a human gets turned to a vampire, they must call the vampire father, master, sir, sire, my lord, creator, or any titles like that. If said vampire dies, TV will become the master.
Depending on who started the chain, the vampires will have different roles. The pure blooded vampire will be the ‘High vampire’. The turned vampire of the High Vampire will be the master, and the turned of the master will be the son. If the son so chooses, they may turn a human into a vampire as well. That turned vampire will be known as the ‘servant’. It is rare to have more vampires than the son, and even more then the servant, but it can occur. If the servant turns another into a vampire, that is the ‘pet’. As the list goes down, more rights and freedoms are taken. The high vampire may do whatever they wish with their human prey. The masters may only hurt humans who are unconscious or unaware. The son gets to share whatever the master catches. The servant gets whatever is left after the master and son have eaten. Servants are not allowed to hunt on their own for humans, but they hunt for rodents and animals. The pet cannot hunt at all and can only eat what it is given.
Vampires do not starve like humans do. A vampire can go up to a onto without blood. Depending on how often they are starved, then can be fed once every couple months. Despite most being violent when in captivity, they would make a good beginning pet due to not needing much assistance.
HIGH VAMPIRE>MASTER>SON>SERVANT>PET
vampires can crave certain types of humans. Most times, they like humans around 18-24. Higher or older vampires may prefer older humans. Many vampires hunt humans the opposite gender of them but if food is scarce they will go for their own gender.
RESTRAIN
Like classic vampires in stories, garlic is hazardous to the species, but only when consumed or in close contact. The cross is hazardous as well but only if directly seen or felt by the vampire. The best way to get a vampire less violent is to put garlic under nose or mouth and a cross around their neck.
Despite being dangerous, a vampire can be tamed. They may also submit themselves to humans. They may work as guards, maids, or any other physical work.
When a vampire looks into a mirror, they do not appear and are not seen. If a human is nearby as well, the human appears, but the vampire is seen as a deformed and dark humanoid creature.
SUN AND MOON
Heli is the god of the son. Legends say he chases vampire pups who misbehave, but that is a folktale parents tell their children. He is not the sun himself, but he is deeply connected to it. Many ‘years’ are called by older vampires or clan vampires ‘rotations’.
Lune is the god of the moon. He isn’t as connected with the vampires as Heli. He stays mainly in his or Helis domain. During full moons, he comes down to earth and walks around in a disguise.
During an eclipse, it is said that Heli and Lune dance all through the eclipse, only breaking once the sun and moon part.
During festivals for either the sun or moon, the two gods come to earth and roam the clans or villages. It was said that whoever finds the disguised gods will be granted a wish but must never tell anybody. This held up for a very long time before humans started to take over the vampires and clans. Now, even if a clan still remains, there are so many humans and tourists that the vampires don’t recognize almost anyone anymore, making it harder to find the gods. Like is easier to find due to his features, like pure white glowing hair and dark star shaped tattoos. His eyes are also pure white without pupils.
