Summary
Thanatos and Mariano are no strangers to captivity. It's almost expected that the vampire and the mage find themselves chained in the dark together, bound with dampeners and silver and with little chance of draconic rescue. Mariano is as used to offering his blood as Thanatos is to suppressing his cravings, but this particular imprisonment comes with an ironic twist: their vampiric captor is perfectly happy to allow Thanatos to stave off feral hunger with his mage's sun-bright blood. Just as long as he also gets his share, straight from Thanatos's neck. Thanatos is left hungry, Mariano anemic, and escape seems further by the day.
It's left to Mariano to find a solution to their predicament, but will he find the right time to strike before Thanatos's thirst is too much?
