   Summary

   On planet Panderas, the Doctor (who, as he tells this story, only slowly realizes what is going on) is smitten with Circe. Nyssa and Tegan don't trust her. The Doctor thinks they're jealous but is there more to their doubts than envy? Can you smell the intoxicating orange? Who is Circe, really? And why, after all, do people enjoy being scared? Events unfold in a fun fair with a scary haunted house (and an after-hours extreme haunt) that could cost the Doctor his TARDIS and his life. Lotsa whump, sexual tension (no actual sex), delayed comfort. Prequel to "Zeengrave on Five Pounds a Day." (Not exactly a prequel to "Perils" but definitely occurs some time prior to it.)
