Joel was small.
He hated that he was admitting this, but he knew he needed to tell somebody. He was supposed to be watching Gem, but he was slowly succumbing to the fog in his brain. Pulling out his comm his thumb slowly moved up towards his mouth. Joel called Etho not expecting an answer right away and startling a bit when his comm rang right back.
“Eefo” He said nervously biting his thumbnail “m small”
“What’s that Joel? I couldn’t hear you” Etho responded, causing Joel to let out a small noise startling Gem from her spot curled up next to him
“Eefoooo” He whined “M lil”
“Ohh okay buddy, i’ll be right there okay? don’t move.” Etho told Joel sternly
“Aye aye eefo” Joel said with a giggle. “I stay here”
As Etho hung up the call with Joel, he turned to Bdubs and Tango.
“Hey guys! Im heading over to Gem and Joel’s. The two of them regressed and Joel wanted me to come over”
Bdubs looked over and grinned at Etho, giving him a thumbs up before turning back to Block Blast!™️ on his comm.
When Etho walked up to Joel and Gem’s base, he couldn’t find the littles anywhere.
“Joel? Gem?” Etho called out, slowly walking around the base before getting the wind knocked out of him as Joel ran up and gave him a bone crushing hug. “Hey buddy whats up?” he questioned as he picked up the little noticing the tear tracks on Joel’s face.
“Gem Gem by Pearlie n I was looking fo yous n I fell n was all lone” Joel started crying again as he was retelling his story
“Hey beans look at me okay?” Etho shushed the crying little trying to get Joel to calm down. Joel sniffled up at him fisting his hands into Ethos jacket “Do you want to go over to my base?”
Joel shook his head as tears began to flow again “no i just wan lizzie” he wailed into Ethos shirt
“Okay buddy” Etho whispered to him walking toward Joels section of the base “Let’s get you changed into something more comfortable okay?” Joel nodded as he rested his head against Ethos chest “Can I get an age check buddy” Etho questioned, receiving 2 long taps and one short tap “Two and a half?”
“Mhm”
“Alright buddy, wanna pick out some clothes for me?”
Joel leaned forward pointing towards the ‘LDShadowlady’ Merch hoodie and ‘EthosLab’ pyjama pants that were in his little chest
“Alright buddy! Arms up please” Etho smiled at the regressor as he quickly changed him to avoid embarrassment. “Do you want a paci or a chew necklace?” he questioned as Joel’s thumb slipped back into his mouth
“M paci peas” Joel giggled at his bubba while Etho fumbled around the chest trying to find it
“Alright beans let’s go up towards Lizzie’s now!” Etho said as he picked the little back up, sliding him onto his back.
When the two got up to the top of the mountain they were met with a very enthusiastic Lizzie
“Hi baby!!” She exclaimed as she took Joel from Ethos back
“Mama!!” Joel giggled while being lifted into her arms.
Etho blushed as Lizzie gave him a kiss on the cheek, grabbing his hand and dragging the two into her house
“Alright little beans I think it’s naptime” Etho told the little after looking at his watch
“Noo Papaaa” Joel whined before being interrupted by a yawn
Lizzie laid the little down in her bed before she fell on top of him after a tug on her shirt sent her sprawling
“Joel!” She admonished through the sound of the little’s giggles
“Eefoooo” Joel whined “come too”
Lizzie grinned up at Etho before grabbing his arm and pulling him into the bed aswell.
Etho sighed but ended up pulling the covers up around the three of them.
“Ni night” Joel yawned, slowly falling asleep
“Goodnight kiddo” Etho and Lizzie whispered before falling asleep too.
