    All Viktor wanted was to spend his evening stealing research from his nemesis.

    Viktor is in Jayce's lab stealing research from his rival when he witnesses Jayce being assaulted by one of the very people that The Defender is sworn to protect. Filling him with hate for the hypocrisy that is Piltover. The sight plagues him with memories from their days in the Academy when he felt so very helpless to help his partner.

    But Viktor is no longer a powerless student.

    The rush of fury and protective instinct cannot be suppressed. He stops the assault and stays to care for Jayce. Jayce doesn't have anyone else, has never had anyone else. While caring for him, the two start to reconnect. They both mend and Viktor savagely avenges Jayce.
