Summary
This fanfic takes place about a year after Hot as Hell, and between S05E7 (Our Mojo) and episode S05E8 (Spoiler Alert) in the Lucifer timeline.
And between Bones episode S10E19 (The murder in the middle east) and S10E20 (The Woman in the Whirlpool)
Is the end of 2016, the battle of Mosul has intensified and is approaching its end which is expected to happen in september 2017.
Booth takes a short-term training contract in Iraq that will help him pay Brennan back his gambling debt. But when a sandstorm turns into an ambush, he vanishes without a trace.
Brennan gets the call—Booth is MIA. Desperate, she enlists both The Finder and Mazikeen, setting off a chaotic race to find him. But what starts as a rescue mission takes a supernatural turn when Lucifer realizes Booth wasn’t just taken—he was chosen.
Held deep in enemy territory, Lucifer, Maze, and Amenadiel must infiltrate the Isis caliphate in Mosul to save him; battle an unholy alliance of zealots and supernatural forces, and confront a being powerful enough to challenge destiny itself.
