Summary
Between her military service and her complex family life, Elle Douglas found herself almost uniquely qualified to survive in The Commonwealth’s wasteland - at least as far as Vault 111 residents went. But now, almost a full year after rising from cryogenic stasis and the horror that befell her young family as a result of the war, Elle finds herself on the verge of breaching The Institute and changing her entire life yet again.
Beyond that, the Brotherhood of Steel is beginning to disintegrate around her. The dissolution of her relationship with the organization is forcing her to make choices she never thought she'd make, pursue opportunities she never thought she'd have, and maybe even fall in love with a man who she never thought she would.
