Work Text:
Many things happened in season 8. Many things happened in season 9.
But she didn't realize it would affect her like this.
She had been born a wolf hybrid. She grew up in a pack before she left.
She had wanted to be a builder.
So she left.
Eventually she found some servers. Starting with creative building servers and meeting people, other builders.
But it really started when she had been invited to EVO.
No one had thought it would awaken ancient void creatures called the Watchers. But it did.
They lived with the Watchers, in harmony for a while.
It was okay, annoying pranks here and there and punishments.
Until Grian left.
No one is quite sure what happened. No one except Grian himself.
But she had followed in suit, unwillingly.
Jimmy and Martyn met the listeners.
The other evolutionists, well she's not sure what happened to them.
But she had become a watcher.
It wasn't great experience, in fact it was horrible. Being forced to watch.
But she escaped by herself.
But that didn't mean there weren't lasting scars. She had the eyes, still forced to watch. She had the wings, those were hidden easy enough.
She hated it, she hated the Watchers, the Listeners. She hated Evo.
She hid those parts of herself. For a while it worked.
She lived like that for a long time, before being invited to Hermitcraft.
She had joined with Gem, who was eerily familiar to someone else she had met.
At first it was normal. She could let her Watcher features be seen without problems. Though she didn't want to.
She had joined the Boatem crew.
They had made the Boatem hole.
No one expected it to cause problems.
As the season progressed they used the Boatem hole more and more, it slowly infected all of them.
When the moon got big, the Mooners were formed. Soon enough it felt as if the moon was giving them energy. But it didn't feel right.
As the moon came crashing down, they jumped into the void. Using the Boatem hole as sanctuary.
They had been stuck there for five weeks.
With only each other, Jellie and one game of Uno.
Once rescued it was easy to tell they all had gone a little stir crazy as well as each having different stages of void sickness.
The 'Doctor' Hermits tried to heal them along side Xisuma and Tango trying to fix their code.
It worked and they were all healed. That didn't mean there weren't lasting scars.
The sickness had affected her wings, which she wasn't sure what she was feeling about it as the wings had become apart of her despite the Watchers.
But as a turned watcher, she could be affected by the void. It had made her wings more fragile, sensitive.
It scared her, her body turning and changing into something she was not. She wasn't whatever species she was now. She should be a wold hybrid and stay a wolf hybrid.
Season 9 began and she hoped for it to be normal.
It wasn't.
She had grown antennae at some point during the building of her mega base.
They had grown just behind her hair line, the light blue antennae seemed to sense everything.
She had also gained an affinity for soup. However it was probably because she ate soup every other day.
By Season 10 she had stopped hoping.
Within the span of a couple months she had grown scales her neck, though those were few and far between.
She became somewhat powered by solar energy in contrast to how she was got her energy from the moon in season 8.
With all of the bizarre transformations, she wasn't sure if it was herself or if it was Hermitcraft itself.
