Set in the original Fallout 76 universe, Shadows of the Wasteland continues after the Steel Reign storyline — expanding on what came next for Fort Atlas, the Brotherhood, and the fragile alliances holding Appalachia together.
This is not a shoot-and-loot fic. It’s a slow descent into character — and the raw, evolving bonds that shape people at the end of the world. Built on canon events but centered around original and reimagined characters, this story blends faction politics, survival ethics, emotional trauma, and deeply complex relationships. There is violence. There is sex. There is no black and white.
At its heart, this is a psychological drama: a love story cracked by war, tested by exile, and complicated by the ghosts we carry. It explores loyalty, power, addiction, and the weight of emotional survival. And through it all, a question lingers: How much of yourself can you lose before you stop being you?
