SASAENGS

Summary:

Every Kpop group has their Sasaengs. Some have it... Worse than most.

Be Aware: Sasaengs are so obsessed with getting their Idols attention that they don't care how. This series will contain break ins, assault, attempted kidnapping and harassment. If that is not ok to you, please do not read. Also Tumblr saw these chapters first!

Chapter 1: Pulled Off Stage

Chapter Text

It all happened relatively quickly.

There was nothing crazy about the event itself. It wasn't the first time they'd performed here, nor was it some super special anniversary that might require more scheduling. Just Huntr/x performing normal songs on a normal day.

But, as Zoey was heading to her position after finishing her solo rap, it happened. Her hand made contact with Mira's shoulder, ready for the next part of their choreo, when she felt a hand on her hip.

She turned, confused, only to find a man behind her. He was wearing dark clothes, definitely not a demon judging by the clarity in his eyes and imperfection in his human form (it was rare for demons to take on any acne or scars during their mimicry). He pulled her away from Mira, who in turn looked at them in confusion.

"Is something wrong?" Zoey asked, suddenly very concerned. Her voice echoed over the microphone, fans suddenly quieting. "What's happening?"

Mira abandoned the concert, grabbing Zoey as Rumi turned in confusion. "Hey, what are you doing?"

Suddenly he got more insistent, practically yanking her into him. Mira's eyes narrowed, and she grabbed Zoey and hauled her in Rumi's direction, putting herself between them.

"What is your problem?" She demanded, before security finally burst through from behind the curtains, Bobby only a couple of footsteps behind.

They tackled him to the ground, Bobby quickly ushering the girls behind the stage so they didn't have to see (or listen) to the nonsense behind them. They filed into their dressing room quietly, Bobby whisper-yelling down the phone at someone about 'security' and 'biggest girl group in the world and you let someone on stage to try and abduct them?' all while staying right next to them.

"I don't understand," Zoey eventually muttered, "Why did he grab me?"

It was something she'd been thinking about since she saw him being tackled to the ground. It was clearly a kidnapping attempt (although granted the worst of the attempts they'd been victim of), but she couldn't fathom why he'd grabbed her. She wasn't particularly aware of her surroundings, so unless he thought she'd just obey without thinking.

"Because you were there," Mira pursed her lips, slinging an arm around Zoey's shoulders while Rumi checked her arm and hip for any bruises from him. "Because you were on the end of the choreo and he thought he could get you backstage before we realised what was going on. If it had been me or Rumi in his reach, he'd have done the same thing. Don't think too much about it."

"Yeah, Zo," Rumi nodded, "He's a creep who doesn't deserve any of your time."

Zoey wasn't convinced. If it had been Mira, she'd have fought him off on her own, and Rumi probably would have recognised the attempt for what it was instead of spending precious seconds trying to figure out if it was a demon instead of anything else. Still though, she shut up and leant on Mira's shoulder instead, closing her eyes.

It could have been worse, she supposed.
