Misunderstandings and Mayhem

Summary:

Sama Hyeon makes a dating profile for Jin Cheonhee in a dating app.

Chaos.

Written for the Flufftober Bingo prompt: "Where do I start?"

Work Text:

“So… tell me how it happened,” Wang Gakyeon said, placing her hands under her chin and looking at Jin Cheonhee with a sparkle in her eye.

“Urgh,” Cheonhee buried his head in his hands and let out a muffled grumbled.

“Where do I even start?” Cheonhee groaned.

“The beginning…? Preferably, of course,” Wang Gakyeon smirked.

“…Your sass isn’t really appreciated right now…” Cheonhee said weakly.

Wang Gakyeon clicked her tongue and pushed a cup of coffee towards Cheonhee.

“Alright, alright…. Calm down and have a drink first,” she said soothingly.

“Urgh…” Cheonhee slumped in his seat and looked at the coffee cup with helpless eyes.

“I wish this drink right now was wine,” Cheonhee mused.

Gakyeon raised an eyebrow.

“Was it that bad?”

“They had to call security because it was getting so loud,” Cheonhee grumbled, rolling his eyes.

“Damn… Was there blood and everything?” Wang Gakyeon asked, clearly hoping the answer was yes.

“No,” Cheonhee shook his head, “Thankfully — but the fighting was really intense, everyone was shouting and — urgh.”

Wang Gakyeon chuckled — she had heard bits and pieces of the incident, as well as the fact that someone had filmed the altercation and attempted to post it online.

Of course, Cheonhee’s father’s loyal secretary-slash-slave, Mister Yooho, made sure to stop them beforehand…..

“So is it true that several men were fighting over you?” Wang Gakyeon teased.

“What?!” Cheonhee gave her a glance in disbelief. “You’re kidding, right? That’s not what happened.”

“So what exactly happened?” Wang Gakyeon probed, clasping her hands in front of her.

“Tell me.”

Opposite her, Cheonhee took a deep breath, closed his eyes for a few seconds, and then opened them again.

“So…. It all started when Sama Hyeon decided to play… a prank, of sorts,” Cheonhee began.

“Sama Hyeon? No wonder it got so messy,” Wang Gakyeon murmured.

“A few months ago I was visiting his place, and I must’ve left my phone lying around, because when I got home, I found out that he had downloaded a dating app for me,” Cheonhee explained.

“I called him and asked him about it, and he told me that I need to let loose, have some fun, and enjoy life…. I think he said something along the lines of, ‘You only live once’? Yeah, he said something like that….”

“You’ve never tried dating apps before? Come on, Cheonhee! You know I care about your love life!” Sama Hyeon said over the phone.

“…It sounds creepy when you say it like that,” Cheonhee grumbled. “Why bother so much about my love life?? You’re still single anyways!”

“I may be single but, heh, you know I keep ~mingling ~,” Sama Hyeon said, clearly a suggestive tone in his voice.

“I want to focus on my career…. Urgh, I’ll just delete the dating app,” Cheonhee stated.

“What?! But as your loyal bro, I helped you download it! I even helped you create an account!” Sama Hyeon protested.

“Besides… Don’t you want to try dating? Just to see how it is?”

Cheonhee was quiet, and Sama Hyeon, sensing his hesitation, hurriedly encouraged him to try out the app.

“It’s hassle-free, I promise…. The app itself will match you with someone, and you can try chatting with them. If it doesn’t work out, no big deal — just press that [not interested] button and you can stop chatting with them. You can even block and report them if they’re weird. If you two click, though….” Sama Hyeon trailed off.

“I wasn’t too interested in dating, but I was curious, and Sama Hyeon did help me create an account with all my details and everything…. I mean, I didn’t need to do anything and I could, potentially, get a great date,” Cheonhee shrugged.

“…I think you should’ve known better than to trust Sama Hyeon,” Wang Gakyeon pointed out.

Cheonhee smiled wryly. “Oh, I really should’ve….”

“Anyways, I didn’t get a match for a while, plus, I was quite busy so I didn’t check my phone often, but several days later, I got a match with someone,” Cheonhee explained.

“Ooh? Was he tall, dark, and handsome? Mr. Perfect? Love of your life? Or… future husband?” Wang Gakyeon teased.

Cheonhee blushed a little, averting his eyes to hide his thoughts. “Well…”

Wang Gakyeon's eyes widened.

“You really liked him?” She asked, incredulous.

“Well…. Not immediately. We started chatting, and it was quite awkward at first…” Cheonhee said, his mind wandering to the first hellos he and Yeo Halyun said to each other.

Seonhee: Hello.

Hahahalyun: Hello.

Seonhee: Hi :))

Hahahalyun: Hi

Seonhee: Hey

Hahahalyun: ey

Seonhee: Hola

Hahahalyun: ?

Hahahalyun: Sorry I've never taken Spanish classes.

Hahahalyun: Duolingo is expensive.

Seonhee: it's free?

Seonhee: Duolingo has the free version

Seonhee: that's besides the point

Seonhee: you said ‘ey’?

Hahahalyun: That was a typo, I missed the h.

Hahahalyun: Hey

Seonhee: Heyyyy

Hahahalyun: :))

Wang Gakyeon was chortling now, rocking back and forth in her seat and clutching her stomach.

“You… the two of you, said hellos back and forth for like, five minutes?” Wang Gakyeon asked, laughing at Cheonhee.

“…It wasn't five minutes,” Cheonhee denied vehemently. It was actually 8 minutes, but Gakyeon didn't need to know that….

“You,” Gakyeon snort-laughed, “You even took the time to explain that Duolingo has a free version? Is this how normal people date?? Hahahahaha!!!”

“He said it's expensive!” Cheonhee grumbled in defense.

“That's just, hahahaa, that's just so you….”

Cheonhee waited for Gakyeon's laughing to subside and took a sip of his coffee.

It was bitter, but warm.

“Anyways,” Cheonhee continued once Gakyeon's laughing had subsided, “Once the initial stage was over, we started getting along.”

Actually, saying they got along was an understatement. The two of them had really hit it off. They talked about everything; books and authors they loved (or hated!), video games and movies they enjoyed (and analysed and debated together!), favorite foods, and even philosophical and ideological ideas.

Also, since Cheonhee was a doctor and Halyun was a bodyguard — they were both interested in the other’s job, sharing stories and anecdotes about their work lives and making each other laugh.

Seonhee: There was this one time a guy came in

Seonhee: he'd just been in a car crash. He had a few broken ribs and bruises, but it wasn't majorly bad

Seonhee: Well, I've seen worse anyways

Seonhee: the ambulance brought him to the hospital, where we were ready

Seonhee: a lady was with him in the ambulance

Seonhee: we thought she was his wife

Hahahalyun: don't tell me….

Seonhee: YUP. It was his mistress

Hahahalyun: what about his wife?

Seonhee: she must've heard about the crash, cuz several minutes later she came in

Hahahalyun: …that must've been crazy….

Seonhee: no, what's even crazier is that when the operation and everything was over, the patient was in his own room and the wife went to confront him

Hahahalyun: about the mistress?

Seonhee: yup!

Hahahalyun: what'd he say? Oops sorry…? I won't do it again? All that same shit..?

Seonhee: he lied and said the lady (the mistress) was his daughter from a previous marriage 💀

Hahahalyun: …what

Seonhee: I'm serious

Seonhee: to be fair, his mistress was like. 20 years younger or something, so….

Hahahalyun: …that's so…

Seonhee: crazy, right? What's even worse is the wife actually believed it….

“Wait wait wait,” Gakyeon stopped Cheonhee and frowned. “You're telling me the wife actually believed that? The guy lied and said ‘No, this ain't my mistress, this is my daughter’, and she believed it?!”

“Yeah,” Cheonhee shrugged. “That's not even the craziest stories we've had in the ER….”

“Damn…. Even being a doctor means getting some gossip huh….”

“Sometimes it's funny, but other times I just wish things were more peaceful. We're busy and stressed enough as it is,” Cheonhee sighed wryly.

Wang Gakyeon clicked her tongue and shook her head, Cheonhee taking another sip of his coffee.

“And you said that Halyun guy, he's a bodyguard?”

“Yeah,” Cheonhee smiled, feeling a giddy sense of excitement when he recalled one of Halyun's cheesy messages.

Yes, Halyun would send him cheesy messages.

Once the two of them were comfy with each other and had started dating, Halyun had slowly begun sending him these cheesy, love-filled messages at random intervals.

Amongst those messages was one that read [I will always be your bodyguard, loving and protecting you.], and, [As your bodyguard, I don't need money. You just need to pay me with a kiss.], and so on.

…It was cheesy as hell but Cheonhee enjoyed it nonetheless. It was from Halyun after all. (Yeah, sometimes he got second hand embarrassment….).

“In any case,” Cheonhee forced himself to focus on his story, “Halyun and I got along so well that we ended up dating for real….”

“Of course, all of this was through text. We both weren't ready to meet up yet, and we agreed to chat first and talk about meeting later on.”

“Uhh, isn't it better to meet up with the person first before you forge an emotional connection? What if the other guy's catfishing you or something?” Gakyeon asked, a little unsure — she herself didn't have much experience with love and dating apps….

Hearing the word catfish, though, Cheonhee couldn't help wincing.

Wang Gakyeon, ever perceptive, noticed it.

“No way…” she hissed a breath of cold air. “This guy was a catfish?”

Cheonhee's expression grew uglier, as if he has just swallowed a lemon, and he spoke.

“I think in this situation…. The catfish was me.”

“What?” Gakyeon was befuddled.

“Yeah…. So you remember that it was Sama Hyeon who set up my dating profile?” Cheonhee asked, a bitter taste on his lips.

“Uh-huh,” Wang Gakyeon nodded.

“And you remember that my username was ‘Seonhee’?” Cheonhee continued.

“Uh-huh….” Wang Gakyeon had a ‘I don't know where we're going with this’ look.

“Yeah…. Apparently Sama Hyeon listed me as a girl in the dating app,” Cheonhee stated.

“…What.” Wang Gakyeon's jaw nearly hit the floor.

“Yeah, he listed me as a girl under my profile….”

“Pffttttt, hahahahahaa!!!!” Wang Gakyeon broke into laughter, cackling so loud that the other customers in the coffee shop shot her a look.

Cheonhee groaned. He knew Wang Gakyeon would laugh….

“Wait,” Gakyeon's laughter stopped abruptly. “What about your profile picture? Don't you look like a guy in your picture?”

Cheonhee struggled to form a reply, knowing full well Gakyeon would be getting more of his black history after this….

“I’ve cosplayed as a girl before,” Cheonhee admitted, voice as small as a mosquito.

“Huh?” Gakyeon didn't hear him.

“I've cosplayed as a girl before,” Cheonhee spoke again, slightly louder than before.

“…what?!”

“I said—”

“I know what you said,” Gakyeon interrupted, “I just can't believe you never told me about this!”

“You cosplayed as a girl before?”

“Yeah,” Cheonhee sighed. It had been, of course, one of Sama Hyeon’s crazy ideas.

Wang Gakyeon’s eyes were practically ablaze.

Show me,” Wang Gakyeon commanded.

Cheonhee helplessly pulled out his phone, scrolled through several folders, and clicked on the photo.

The person in the picture was undeniably Cheonhee, but he had long brown hair braided at the sides and he was wearing a traditional Korean dress, all pink and lovely. With the appropriate make-up that highlighted his features, Cheonhee truly looked like a pretty lady….

“…Damn, I almost fell in love with Seonhee,” Wang Gakyeon said, looking at the photo so intensely that Cheonhee thought her eyes probably hurt.

“God, look at your hair, your figure… Your face, your lips!” Wang Gakyeon murmured, making Cheonhee extremely embarrassed.

The tips of his ears were red as he snatched back his phone.

“How could you say something like that—!” Cheonhee hissed, holding his phone as if it was a hot potato.

“Damn Cheonhee…. I’m glad you’re not a girl,” Wang Gakyeon mused. “If you were, I’d be insanely jealous of your looks!”

“…I’m not even a girl now but you’re jealous already,” Cheonhee pointed out.

“Ahem, that wasn’t jealousy, okay? That was pure admiration….”

“Hang on, so when Sama Hyeon made your profile picture, he used a picture of you when you were crossdressing—”

“I was cosplaying,” Cheonhee corrected.

“Whatever,” Gakyeon rolled her eyes. “The point is, he listed you as a girl and even used that picture as your profile picture…. Damn, you’re right, Hee. You’re kinda catfishing people aren’t you?”

Cheonhee sighed.

“That’s what I thought as well. I couldn’t believe Sama Hyeon did something like that….”

“But it’s all just an honest mistake, right? You could just tell that Hahaha guy that your friend pranked you or something.”

“His name is Halyun, and the thing is…. I didn’t notice that I was listed as a girl,” Cheonhee said slowly.

“You didn’t notice anything wrong with your username either? I mean, it clearly says ‘Seonhee’,” Wang Gakyeon pointed out.

“Yeah, but when I saw that name I just thought Hyeon made a typo or he did it on purpose to protect my real identity, so no one knows my name, you know?” Cheonhee explained.

“But can’t you see that your own profile picture was a picture of you cosplaying??” Wang Gakyeon found it unbelievable. “I mean, shouldn’t you be able to see your own profile picture??”

“You know I’m not good with technology, especially dating apps,” Cheonhee sighed. “The interface wasn’t user-friendly, okay? It’s not my fault I didn’t realize it sooner….”

What Cheonhee said was the partial truth. It was his first time using a dating app and the interface was indeed a little complicated. However, the real reason he hadn’t noticed his own damn profile picture was because he had been too busy admiring Halyun’s….

It wasn’t his fault Halyun was too handsome, right?

“You said you didn’t realize it sooner…. What’s that supposed to mean?” Gakyeon asked.

“Well…. At this point I had dated Halyun for a few months already, right? So we were both comfortable with each other. We agreed to meet up.”

“Uhhh….”

“Now before this I had to change our meet-up schedule twice because of work, so this was the third time already, and I really didn’t want to mess it up,” Cheonhee explained (that, plus, he really wanted to meet Halyun).

“Halyun and I settled on a time and place, everything was ready, but two days before the actual meet up, I found out what Sama Hyeon had done.”

“…Damn.”

“Yeah,” Cheonhee chuckled wryly, “I couldn’t change the date again — I mean, it’s been two times, if I change it again he’ll think I’m just making excuses and I don’t actually want to meet him.”

“So I panicked,” Cheonhee threw his hands in the air.

“I called Cheonwoo, told him about the situation, and I asked him to help me. So, you know that people could get really angry if they find out they’re catfished, right? And they’d get even angrier if they found out the person they thought was a girl is actually a man….”

“Yeah, I get what you mean,” Wang Gakyeon nodded. She had heard stories about how rude, obnoxious, or mean people could be when they found out someone was crossdressing. People could be so evil sometimes.

“Couldn’t you just… tell him the truth? Or not meet up with him?” Wang Gakyeon asked.

Cheonhee sighed. Of course, Cheonwoo had also advised him to just come clean, explain it was a misunderstanding through the texts, and not meet up with Halyun.

At this point, though, he was really in love with Halyun and hoped that even if Halyun ended up disappointed or upset, he wouldn’t hurt him. Plus, he was worried that if he confessed before they met up, Halyun would just block him or refuse to meet him altogether…. By this point Cheonhee was down bad, and his emotions overwhelmed his reason.

“In the end, me and Cheonwoo agreed that I would still meet up with Halyun, but Cheonwoo would be waiting nearby. If I didn’t text him within 15 minutes, he would come and find me,” Cheonhee explained.

“Hmm. Okay, that’s….. I mean, it’s good that you had a plan,” Gakyeon shrugged.

“Yeah,” Cheonhee nodded.

“So, you went to meet that Halyun guy, right?” Gakyeon confirmed.

“Yeah,” Cheonhee nodded. “The day for us to meet arrived, I got ready, and Cheonwoo was ready as well. Halyun and I agreed to meet in this cafe, it’s big and quiet — their coffee is great too, so I drove there with Cheonwoo.”

Gakyeon nodded, and Cheonhee continued.

“Well, when I arrived…. I met Halyun,” Cheonhee stated.

Cheonhee still remembered the first time he saw Halyun in the flesh. Tall, handsome, deep black eyes that seemed to lure you in….

He looked even better than his profile picture.

“Hi, I’m Cheonhee. Jin Cheonhee. Are you… Halyun?” Cheonhee asked.

“Yes, I’m Halyun,” the black-haired man replied.

Cheonhee could feel Halyun looking him up and down and he felt a pang of guilt and fear. What if Halyun hated him after this? What then? He really, truly, liked Halyun, something that he didn’t think was possible, and he didn’t want this relationship to end in flames.

You look different from your profile picture,” Halyun said, and Cheonhee felt his blood run cold. He was still standing awkwardly next to Halyun’s table, not daring to sit. In fact, Cheonhee kind-of felt like running away.

“I’m really, really sorry,” Cheonhee sighed, knowing he had to explain everything. He explained how his friend was the one who had set up his account and profile, along with the fact that he was actually a man.

All throughout his explanation, Halyun was quiet, listening attentively but not seeming judgemental. Cheonhee, though, was stuttering through his explanation, worried that Halyun would be angry — or worse, hit him — when he finished talking, he looked at Halyun as if he was awaiting judgement.

“Okay, I understand. It’s alright, it’s just a misunderstanding after all,” Halyun said kindly.

Cheonhee could see that his response was genuine, and he breathed a sigh of relief. Halyun wasn’t angry, or upset, or betrayed. He was okay with this.

“You’ve been standing for a while now, why don’t you sit down?” Halyun asked, gently maneuvering Cheonhee to his seat and pulling out a napkin for him.

“You’re really not angry that I’m a man?” Cheonhee asked.

“To be honest, I did think you were a girl at first, I mean, you look so pretty in your profile picture —” Cheonhee blushed at that statement — “But then I started to think, maybe you’re a man…? And I asked myself, would I be alright if you’re a man? And I realized, it doesn’t matter to me if you’re a man or a woman, you’re Cheonhee, and that’s all.”

“I-I see,” Cheonhee couldn’t help smiling shyly. Thank god. Thank god everything went well. Halyun wasn’t angry, sad, or betrayed, and he was actually more perfect handsome in real life! Was online dating this easy?

Of course, as time went by, Cheonhee and Halyun’s conversation grew more and more heated. They were having a lot of fun, and even though in the back of his head, Cheonhee felt like he was forgetting something, he thought, it definitely wasn’t too important….

“So you started chatting with Halyun—”

“His real name is Yeo Halyun,” Cheonhee added.

“Yeah, you chatted with him, and you forgot that you were supposed to text Cheonwoo to tell him everything’s going well?”

“Yup,” Cheonhee sighed, a look of resignation on his face.

“Damn, I think I can guess what happened next,” Gakyeon groaned. “Cheonwoo stormed in and got super protective of you, am I right?”

“Well… That’s right,” Cheonhee nodded.

Jin Cheonwoo was Cheonhee’s close friend, almost like a brother to him. They met in the orphanage and Cheonwoo took on Cheonhee’s surname, ‘Jin’. Now Cheonwoo was known for being really protective of Cheonhee (although honestly, almost everyone in Cheonhee’s life was protective of him, especially his foster father), and even though Cheonwoo was kind and gentle, he could be really fierce too.

Cheonwoo had been waiting inside Cheonhee’s car, anxiously waiting for the text message from Cheonhee — the cafe itself was pretty big, so Cheonwoo couldn’t spot Cheonhee from where he was sitting. After 15 minutes of staring at his phone and not getting any messages, Cheonwoo got out of his car and entered the cafe, looking for Cheonhee.

“You know that this took place is XSX Cafe, right? Do you know the layout of the place?” Cheonhee asked Gakyeon.

“Yeah, I know. It’s really big, and they’ve got these, like, private ‘booths’ of sorts..? Like, each table is kind of secluded, right?”

“Yeah, you remember it correctly. Halyun and I were sitting in one of those semi-circle booths, the seat that’s like a half circle, you know? The deep blue ones near the back?”

“Yeah, yeah,” Gakyeon nodded. “I remember.”

“Yeah, so you know that since it’s quite secluded, when we’re sitting there, we can’t really see the people behind or in front of us, right?” Cheonhee said.

Gakyeon nodded.

“Well, I don’t know from which side of the cafe Cheonwoo entered, but when he finally spotted us, apparently Halyun was raising his hand,” Cheonhee spoke slowly.

“Raising his hand? To call for the waiter?” Gakyeon asked.

“Yup,” Cheonhee nodded. “But for some reason — maybe because he had been on edge the entire time — Cheonwoo thought he was going to hit me.”

“…What?”

“Yeah, apparently that’s what he thought, because he rushed over, grabbed Halyun’s hand, and screamed, out loud, ‘Don’t hit my husband!’.”

Wang Gakyeon was speechless, and Cheonhee would only smile wryly.

“Hang on a minute — I’m confused. Halyun was raising his hand to call the waiter, but Cheonwoo, in his panic, thought he was going to hit you and stopped him… and he said what?!”

“…He said, ‘Don’t hit my husband!’,” Cheonhee sighed.

“…Why did he say that?” Wang Gakyeon was utterly confused.

“That’s also my question,” Cheonhee said. “Apparently he thought it was the best way to protect me and whisk me out of there.”

“…”

Wang Gakyeon just stared at Cheonhee in silence, trying to process that line of thought.

“Maybe… Maybe Cheonwoo thought that by saying he was my husband, Halyun would be scared of hurting me and would stop pursuing me…?” Cheonhee suggested.

Wang Gakyeon’s eye twitched.

“Or maybe, his brain was not braining,” Wang Gakyeon suggested.

“…I don’t know. In any case, obviously Halyun was surprised. I mean, I was surprised too,” Cheonhee said.

“That must’ve been super messy,” Wang Gakyeon sighed.

“No, it gets even worse,” Cheonhee groaned. “Apparently at some point, my dad had entered the cafe — he must’ve seen me talking to Halyun, but he probably thought we were just friends. But when Cheonwoo screamed that sentence…”

“Oh no….”

“My dad popped up from behind me and practically growled,” Cheonhee sighed, trying not to facepalm.

Wang Gakyeon didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

“He’s my husband,” Cheonwoo spoke.

“Cheonhee? You have a husband?” Yeo Halyun looked hurt, almost furious even.

From behind him, Cheonhee heard rustling and the familiar voice of his father, Jaegal Lin.

“Hee-ya… That brat is your husband? No, you have a fucking husband?? YOU GOT MARRIED WITHOUT TELLING ME???” Jaegal Lin roared.

“DAD?! Why are you here?? No, wait—”

Yeo Halyun was grasping Cheonhee’s hand with his free hand, tightening his grip.

“You had a husband? Were you lying to me all this time?” Yeo Halyun growled.

“What? No! I don’t have a husband!” Cheonhee denied.

“Hyung, you don’t have to lie anymore, if he doesn’t accept you for who you are—”

“Don’t twist my words,” Yeo Halyun cut in. “I’ll accept Cheonhee no matter what, but you?? I don’t accept you!”

“Hee-ya, you want to marry two men?” Jaegal Lin cut in. “Why didn’t you tell me about this? Why hide it from me?? I’m your father—”

“Let go of his hand,” Cheonwoo was glaring at Yeo Halyun now.

“You should let go of my hand first,” Yeo Halyun smirked, “Before I cut off yours.”

“Hehe, I think both of you should let go of my son,” Jaegal Lin stood menacingly over Halyun and Cheonwoo. “As Hee’s father, I don’t approve any of you, so don’t even think—”

“I don’t need your approval,” Yeo Halyun sneered, jutting out his chin. “Cheonhee is in love with me and he’ll marry whoever he likes, whether you like it or not.”

“Excuse me, but as his husband—”

“Cheonwoo!!! Why do you have to keep saying you’re my husband?!” Cheonhee asked exasperatedly.

“When you start something, you must do it ‘till the end, Hyung,” Cheonwoo stated — Cheonhee understood what he meant — if you start acting, you better act till the end…. Halyun and Jaegal Lin, though, seemed to misunderstand his meaning.

“What the hell do you mean ‘when you start something you gotta do it ‘till the end’?” Yeo Halyun hissed. “You can’t force someone to stay in a marriage they’re clearly unhappy with!”

“There’s this thing called ‘divorce’,” Jaegal Lin added.

“I know a great lawyer, Cheonhee. If you want, we could get married today—” Halyun was cut off.

“What the fuck?! Am I a joke to you??” Jaegal Lin glared at Yeo Halyun.

By this time the customers in the cafe had gathered around to watch the drama, and Yooho, Jaegal Lin’s loyal secretary, was even handing out popcorn.

“So… that’s how we got banned from XSX Cafe,” Cheonhee said, smiling wryly.

“Because of the verbal fight?”

“No, that one was fine. But when they started punching each other….” Cheonhee shook his head. “Let’s just say several things got broken that day.”

“…”

“It’s been three days since that incident and the misunderstanding is cleared up, but those three are still…. They’re still upset with each other. I mean, I’m kind of upset with them as well for jumping to conclusions and getting into a fight too,” Cheonhee explained.

“Mhm, that was crazy,” Gakyeon clicked her tongue.

“Yeah. Now I’m kind of scared of going to cafes….”

Wang Gakyeon shook her head and sighed.

“…At least you know those three care about you,” Gakyeon said, trying to sound positive.

“Yeah,” Cheonhee laughed wryly. “I also know my dad’s secretary frequently brings popcorn with him, so…”
