The Spine stayed by the Reader as he tried to fall back asleep.
The Reader had endured a seizure cluster the previous day, leaving him extremely drained. Even this following day, his body and brain were horribly exhausted. His muscles were sore and his brain was clouded.
The Spine didn't leave his side, making sure he was okay and cared for. The automaton gave his boyfriend gentle touch and attention as he rested, doing what he could to make sure he felt loved.
"Get some rest, sweetheart" The Spine said gently as the drained man began to fall back asleep. The Reader hummed and curled further against the bot, earning a small, loving chuckle from him. "I've got ya. You just rest today"
The Reader wasn't gonna argue with this notion.
