    Itoshi Rin hated flowers. Not for a specific reason, he was just no nature lover, and flowers were no exception. He didn't like (he straight up wouldn't) gift flowers and he would have loathed receiving them (never happened, thank the Gods), they were messy and a hassle to take care of, and they died quickly. His mother liked flowers, she had some vibrant vases in the living room that he would stare at with hate in his eyes for the sole reason that they were too bright, they were infesting the house, and they were hers.

    In a way, now, tearing the third bloomed root from the depths of his lungs, he thought it was fitting, for him, to get killed by what he couldn't help but hate with all himself.
