Chapter Text

Trans Astra, T.A: 2328

…After humanity reached out for higher worlds and met different life forms. A collaboration between Earth’s people and the Aliens of a distant world only known as the Alien Corvus and Alien Riders collaborate on a new project called the “Assault Armor: Kamen Rider Plan”.

The existence of Assault Armors have proved worthy enough for warfare and civilian use. However the “Kamen Rider Plan” aims to revise the aspects of Assault Armors and shift them on their heads, by making them utilize the powerful and dangerous Z10 Engine with a material known as Layer 10.

On a development and research plant located in the asteroid known as ”Feruit” connected to the space settlement known as ”Just”, a Kamen Rider Type Assault Armor is being developed…however the dangers of the Z10 Engine are too much and a terrorist organization known as The Banshees threaten the development, when a young girl who works at a Kamen Rider Development Plant named Sashi Isamu’s life is turned around, she is given the choice of “Live” or “Die” as “Kamen Rider”.

“10”, a number that is the base of the decimal system, ten fingers, ten numbers. Completeness, wholeness and perfection. Ten Z Engines, all with varying degrees of performance, consequences and power. The mighty Z10 Engine is what we call “perfection” all developed by Ovia Sky, the future is here and bright once we take into the sky, at Ovia Sky—

Static. The bright lights of a television playing shows as the channels switched, audio from all different kinds of shows and dramas filled the room with scattered noise, a loud “crunch” echoed, the ruffling of an aluminum bag, the lights of the room where off, and dark shrouded it, yet the only thing playing in the silence was the TV.
“Sashi Isamu—calling Sashi Isamu! This is Armag Tyumen, can you hear me? Over.”
Yet, in the dark a radio would shout out a name…“Sashi Isamu”, the one that sat in the darkness was…Sashi Isamu. Her appearance was covered by blankets, the bag of chips crushed up and tossed as Isamu gently kicked the blanket to reveal herself all the while licking her fingers of the crumbs and oil.
“This is..Isamu, what’s up Armag? Over..”
Her voice sounded tired, raspy and all around a lack of energy to it. Isamu had walked over to the TV, the remote in her hand as she would turn off the television, her room covered in pitch black darkness.
“Oh? You really sound tired over there…didn’t mean to wake you up sleeping beauty. Anyways—boss wants you to test out Layer 10, you know the usual—over.”

Armag’s compliment didn’t burst through her head whatsoever. Isamu was a standout, really, she was and Isamu seemed to be the only one involved with being “the test subject”. But…what was this Layer 10 anyways? Well, considering the Z10 engine…it seemed to be linked to that, Isamu didn’t care anymore, but she did take out a syringe, a label written in poor handwriting..

“Layer 10-Antidote”, the needle was sharp and looked painful. By the time Sashi held the needle actually, was when she would stab it directly into her arm, a loud hiss as the spit from her mouth hit the ground. It was obvious that the needle was painful, but one other thing to note was the sudden lines that ran across her face in a damask pattern of which had run down all the way to her neck. The antidote was working..

“Sashi Isamu. Please proceed to the Test Hangar.”

Yet there was no time to sit and stand around. Was there?

“At Ovia Sky, the future is bright!” Is what those corporate cornballs always say, a bright future ahead…but yet she can never see it ahead, Isamu never saw the promised world she wanted. However to live in this world, she must be held by wires and strings to keep her alive, so is the consequence of war, to survive in a world like this, she must accept the consequences and truth that—

Weapons are only made to kill people.

Stepping outside her room, zero gravity would take its effect on Sashi, her body floating, she spun around. The thought of zero gravity hadn’t been new to Sashi, but she was accustomed to normal gravity, but thankfully around the planet, several panels that staff could hold onto accompanied them to their desired location, really she never saw a point in having gravity be this active, but if that’s what the higher ups wanted…I guess it's better that way.
“Sashi!”
A distant voice rang out, it was a fellow coworker…or pilot to say. The Layer 10 lines ran down his face like a scar, it told a story of pain and suffering yet his own smile still remained within him.
“Long time no see. Layer 10 got you good, did it?”

His presence felt warm and comforting, his stance tall and bold. He was truly one you could call a friend, unlike many…Isamu felt surprised at his entrance, she didn’t expect him to be alive with all those Layer 10 scars running down his face.
“Korey!—Well—yeah it did…but you're the one taking in all those dat’s as an unmod…you sure you ain’t turning into no data freak?”
Sashi asked as she was scared by his appearance, simply making fun of Korey, yet in a more friendlier way.
“Psycho Mode? Well…I haven’t gotten any symptoms of going Psycho Mode yet Sashi…but you however.”
Korey placed his hand on her shoulder, pushing himself up in the air. He had a head start now because of the shoulder push. And it wasn’t to mess with Sashi, this was more so a habit.

“Yeah…I know that. But I almost went Psycho Mode too!”
The two began to converse as they floated together, Isamu’s words sounded of concern as she revealed the scars that ran down her neck all the way to her chest, it looked painful—well it was, it was the type of pain you could feel.
“Side note..did corpo junkies tell you of the things they saw in the Black Jupiter Sky? You know…the thing next to Jupiter!”
She followed with. Korey’s response mainly consisted of a small laugh and sigh of wonder, his hands gentle on the railings that transported Sashi and himself.

“The meteoroid? Yeah I’ve heard of it myself…twice as big as Jupiter yet doesn’t do anything too strange, no? They’ve set up bases and labs there in search of Layers actually!”
He mentioned, his finger raising up like it was a fun fact of all things, Isamu would let a chuckle out of her mouth. Times like these had to be enjoyed because they were so small.

The past was the past anyways.

“Well…would you look at that, we got so distracted talking that we were already here! Hey, once testing is done, do you want to visit Just? It’s only a quick stop, but I got some pretty cool stuff to show you!”
There was a suggestion made by Korey, now that the two were about to part ways. It seemed one small offer was being given out, to visit Just, the space settlement connected to Feruit.
”Well—”
Isamu scratched the back of her head, not knowing what to say. She likely was going to be more busy than Korey now, skipping weeks on end to recover from Layer 10.
“Maybe! I’ll think about it..”
But she gave out her answer, it wasn’t definitive but a rejection wasn’t given out. As the two parted ways, Isamu fist bumped Korey, now heading into her part of the lab as Korey headed to his.

Sashi entered the Test Hangar of her respective assignment.

The Kamen Rider Type Assault Armor Coleda. Separated piece by piece as wires and crane claws holding it up in the air, a pad where the Pilot would stand and equip the armor, the maintenance crew floating in zero gravity as they fixed the inner workers of the Coleda. Isamu passed by staff, grabbing onto the ledges of multiple computers that contained Coleda's data.
“Isamu! I didn’t expect you to come out of your shell, what got you to come here?”
Yet, in her way, a tall female figure stood in front of the Coleda as it was being repaired, her arms opening in a comforting manner as Isamu landed on the ground. A weird smile formed from her face as she was left confused by the sudden warm welcome. Litfr Eil, was her name.
“It’s a great pleasure to see my kindest soldier here once more.”

We couldn’t change the way of fate, we couldn’t stop wars and save lives with a snap of our fingers. Time could not be reversed, Time could not be stopped. As we move, so does time, and as time moves, so do we, within war, within time and within humanity, we cannot go back and erase it all. Those are the ideals of the Earth Sphere Regime..
“We’ve sent out The Banshees to deal with Ovia Sky’s development of the Kamen Rider Type Assault Armors, hopefully that satisfies your needs…President O’Brien.”
“Oh..no need to satisfy me anymore Janus! I'm gratefully happy to keep you and Oraculum II in check! If anything, thank Lewis Freyja for this wonderful opportunity to fund the raid on Ovia Sky!”
“Surely…O’Brien. I do hope Lisht is satisfied as well.”
Janus uttered the last part out of her breath, it sounded like she was excited about what was to happen to Ovia Sky, yet she didn’t feel any malice brewing from her, it was quiet, quiet and silent malice.

O’Brien raised a brow, his laughter echoing as he raised a hand out to Janus.
“Lisht? That Guy who runs The Banshees? What about him?”
“Well..it’s just that he’s been talking to me about a raid on Just, the biggest Settlement in the Earth Sphere Regime’s control, the only one to have complete control and access to digging deep into Black Jupiter Sky’s deposit of Layer 10, yet…it’s also the biggest storage of Layer 10.”
“I..I don’t get where you're getting at!”
O’Brien stuttered, a sweat running down his face.

“What Janus is saying is that she’s allowed me to raid Just…a large deposit of the most powerful material in the universe all kept by a society in space. Truly I am a man with nothing to hide, O’Brien.”
Out of the shadows came a man whose identity was concealed by a bird-like mask, one side of it basked in elaborate shapes and colors as he merely bowed to Janus and O’Brien.
“Ah, Lisht…I was wondering where you were.”
Janus said, offering a seat for Lisht.
“No thank you Janus, haven’t you allowed permission for me and The Banshees to raid Just? If so, I have something to attend to..”
Lisht turned, leaving as he walked out of the room. His presence was sort of intimidating as O’Brien wiped a sweat off his brow.

Once in a while, you’d find peace in a mega structure connected to a floating asteroid, would you? As the sound of the satellites surrounding the Settlement echoed throughout, the astronauts who worked on around the place all chit chatted with various topics in mind.

Some were talking about home on earth, their family and friends, a lot of them seemed to miss home, yet one thing they couldn’t help but notice was the approaching multitude of lights, the trails of exhaust from the powerful Z Engines ejecting its heat from the vents and thrusters, the Assault Armors had landed on top of Feruit, in front of them was a metal wall that connected to the inside of the base.
“Team Armag, this is Team Karuit. We found an entrance.”
“Good, we hacked into the communications already, now we just need to get in and destroy those Armors and the people there.”
“That’s all? I thought Janus said we should retrieve one..”
“Karuit, we will retrieve one. Just don’t expect sudden changes in our plan, alright?”
“Tch—alright Captain Armag. We're heading in.”
“Good. I’ll meet you at the Rendezvous Point, get in, get out.”
“Roger that!”

Keruit‘s Shadur and his Assault Armor team’s Heat Daggers lit up, all of which had stabbed into the wall as they would cut through it like butter, the pieces flying out into space like paper in the wind.
“Alright team. Let’s show these Corpos and their Corpo junkies what the Banshees got!”
“Alright!”
They all cheered as they entered the base.

Kindest soldier? What did Eil mean by that? Well, Sashi didn’t really question as she laughed awkwardly from it.
“Yeah…but anyways Armag told me that I should be testing out Layer 10 again.”
“Oh? Well…I didn’t know you had been assigned…really it’s funny cause..”
Eil crossed her arms, a smirk running across her face all of a sudden as she let out a soft smile.
“But we don’t know an Armag who works here.”
“…What?!”
“Oh…you heard exactly what I said. Did you happen to misremember a name?”

…A gulp was heard from Sashi, the crowd of staff watched her embarrassment come to her as she looked up to Eil, her fingers twiddling against each other, Isamu’s gentle smile appeared.
“No, I-“
Amidst her surroundings, Sashi’s black eyes turned a mix of white, yellow and bright orange as Eil’s bloody hands grabbed onto her waist, with Litfr pushing Sashi back into the platform where the Coleda stood, Isamu had screamed out for Eil, questioning what she was even doing at that very moment. Litfr had floated to Isamu, bleeding from her hip, the blood made its way to Sashi’s face as her eyes trembled with fear.
“L-Litfr!”
Isamu shouted, her hands reaching out for Eil as the scientist comforted the disturbed child…gunshots and screams covered by the humming of the Coleda as Litfr placed her hands onto Sashi’s cheeks, the blood staining it as Sashi’s eyes dilated, any innocence that remained drifted away as Litfr placed the Gene Driver onto Sashi’s waist.
“Sashi..I need you to transform.”
“B-but I can’t…! I can't do it without you!”
“You need to—trust me..!”
“HOW CAN I TRUST YOU?!”

Sashi’s hands had been placed on the handle grips of the Driver, several displays appearing all confirming Sashi as…the pilot of the Coleda. Her Layer-10 scars begin to light up as she hissed in pain, Eil began to comfort her within arms reach as fire and smoke breached into the facility.
“Listen…I’ve programmed the Driver and Coleda to be piloted and used by you, and you alone..”
Eil’s grip began to weaken as Sashi sniffled, her tears were forcibly held back…yet Eil believed in Sashi as she would let go, pushing herself away into the smoke and fire, Sashi screamed out for Eil as the gunshots lined up, blood drawing from the ashes.
“If you can prove yourself..just this once to me that you are strong enough to guide yourself out of here..please forgive me..I would’ve wanted so much more with you..Sashi..”

To her only desire…

“My…”

A beast of burden preys upon her name

“Child..”

Only mankind has a god. A god we called…

…Her eyes widened in disbelief as the last push Eil gave would let Sashi pull the grips of the Driver forward. There was only one word however to say…to fully complete the transformation..the blaze and smoke began to cover and spread towards Sashi, bright purple lights aimed at her…
“Hen…”
“WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED! MOVE AWAY FROM THE ASSAULT ARMOR—!”
“…SHIN!”
Sashi yelled, the Coleda’s pieces forming together with the Layer 10 from Sashi’s body. Karuit and his squadron had aimed at the transforming Sashi, whether a doubt they had been screwed was up to them as Karuit yelled—
“Fire! Fire on sight! Now!”

Possibility.

The Coleda had been trapped by the wires and strains that held it back, its arms locked in place as the Assault Armor had been placed under heavy bullet fire by Karuit and his squadron. Yet, Eil wanted Sashi to move…but not just move…but run, and as the Coleda struggled, the strains began to move and break as the armor reached out violently like a chained human being towards Karuit. As it struggled, its armor revealed a blue hint under it…yet it snapped back under hiding as the Coleda jumped and bursted out of the cage, with Karuit now in its hand as Sashi groaned, the controls inside the suit had been placed into their max as the Coleda and Karuit bursted out from the roof, contrails following suit.
“Ngh!—blasted Assault Armor! I’ll show you how you pilot a weapon of war, corpo junkie foal!”
“Don’t underestimate me…and don’t underestimate Eil!”

Sashi shouted at Karuit, the two now fighting as Karuit aimlessly fired with no sense of where to shoot at. He was panicking because of the sudden rush from inside the facility to space, he fired at whatever he could, dust piling up as his sensors alerted him from the left side, in his view…he could see the Coleda floating in space…
“Sashi! Watch out!”
Korey’s voice…piloting his own Allevana Unit, his scars lighting up as the Allevana fired at Karuit’s Shadur. The Coleda floated past, Korey’s Allevana throwing a long barreled rifle at the Coleda for it to grab as Sashi aimed.
“Fire, Sashi!”
Karuit had been caught off guard, bullets now being sprayed in his face as warnings went off within the Layer 5 cockpit, Karuit’s Shadur managed to get away from the crossfire as Korey’s Allevana pursued the Shadur, a beam weapon was next to him, could it have been—
“S-SHIT! THAT OTHER ONE—!”
“You're not getting away!”
It seemed the long rifle the Coleda had begun to wield was its personal weapon, the barrel well..was long but it didn’t seem too powerful. However, as the Coleda and Sashi aimed at the fast moving Karuit and his Shadur, the Coleda began to track the Assault Armor with light speed reaction time. This was the power of the Coleda? It seemed so…after all, it was the man made god that was called…possibility, there was no time to stop and think about how the Coleda was doing this, but soon enough the target was fully locked on to, the trigger of the Coleda’s rifle and inside Sashi’s cockpit called out to them to fire..
“Sashi! Be careful using that!”
“…”
“I know what I’m doing Korey! GOTCHA!”

The trigger had been pressed and pulled, from the end of the Rifle, a giant purple and red beam had launched from its end. Powerful enough to destroy the asteroids and comets with its particles. Karuit’s Shadur had nearly been hit, debris flying everywhere as he fired back.
“Amazing..! That’s got some power to it—!”

He was quite pissed to say, yet also amazed, grinning his teeth as the Shadur boosted out of the way. Within view, the Astronauts and maintenance crew witnessed the Shadur enter the Settlement’s airspace
“…Mopi-6, are you getting what I’m seeing?”
“I’m seeing what you're seeing, Yugi-12.”

Korey’s Allevana turned to the Coleda, his voice laughing with the muffled static of the comms. Sashi laughed, giggling at his laughter..yet he gasped for air as he began to cough, the sound of blood floating and splashing onto the helmet of Korey..
“K-Korey! You’re—”
“Yeah..I know..”
..Isamu smiled as she got a clear view of Korey, her only friend.
“Now..we just need to get inside the settlement and we’ll recon with—”
..And in that instant, Sashi’s eyes would light up, from the reflection, Korey’s Allevana had been pierced through the chest…his Unit’s armor exploded, melting as the Layer 10 exploded. Without anything to cool it down, it had created a shockwave that sent Sashi and the Coleda tumbling.
“K-KOREY!!”

..There was nothing left of Korey or his Unit, the Layer 10 that exploded made no trace. Sashi’s only friend…gone. Yet, no time was given to think about it..tears had been shed and teeth were grinned, yet the culprit of the kill had just passed by with Armag’s Shadur, the purple unit passed by Sashi’s view as she hid behind the debris. It was hard to make it out, but..the Unit had a L10 Driver..

Was it a Kamen Rider type? It didn’t look like it, however, with its frame looking similar to the Coleda’s and also the same beam rifle, there was no doubt that…the Coleda and that unit shared the same origin.
“Armag, Karuit! Regroup with your squadrons. We’ll enter Just right away once recon is successful.”
“Roger that. Commencing recon.”
“Understood. Commencing recon.”

The riches we took, always seemed to reflect the poorest we gave. With the nature of wealth, you’d think people would use it for their own purposes, desires and fantasies…no, they wouldn’t. They’d use it to fund wars, genocides and crimes beyond human comprehension, we’ve killed innocent lives and dreams just so we can show who’s boss.

We’ve misunderstood the point of war.

On board the space aircraft arriving at Just known as the Harnel, many Earth Sphere Regime elites and upper class members of society sat down, talking and enjoying their meals, some fancying wine and others reading books. A young man with unkempt grey hair, the color of ash piercing scarlet eyes with his quite modest and moderate suit floated by a young girl whose style seemed to contrast the young man. Her style was simple as she wore a blue dress with a back cape on it, her hair was black with blue on the inside and at a long length—her eyes were of a red pinkish coloring.
“Alice! What are you doing?! Check out the view!”
“Not now Rouki..I’m out here putting on my makeup..”
“But Dad said you’d have to come with me! He said that you’ll meet cute boys if you come with me! We’ll find you a Part!”
Alice gave a quick glance, her brow turning as she shooed Rouki away, her hand swaying.
“You know what’s good for you! How about you go fuck yourself?! I don’t need no Part in my life..”
She yelled, Rouki laughing as he floated away. Alice was definitely a tough shell.

The vast emptiness of space was the only thing the window of Alice’s seat offered. No one sat to her, she had bought out the two seats next to hers, just for privacy. Alice’s eyes looked upward, the stars in the sky shining along with comets that flew by, a loud ring echoed throughout the Harnel, capturing everyone’s attention.
“Attention..this is your captain speaking. We are arriving at Just, please be patient.”
And then…the ring played again before fading.

As they arrived, Alice had stretched with her bags in toe. Several butters assisting with the bags, a giant nine foot tall bag as heavy as it was, would be lifted onto a tray with the other baggage. The biggest settlement in the Earth Sphere now open to Alice, she took a look around the place. Lights all over as homes and buildings had been built on top and bottom inside the Settlement. Alice swayed her hair gleefully in the wind.
“Getting away from Earth wasn’t so bad..mom! May I go out on my own?”
“Sure dear. But make sure you don’t go too far.”
Alice’s mom smiled, watching Rouki run around.
“Rouki! Don’t—!”

A loud whoosh, the crowds of people passing by as Alice walked on the streets. An umbrella covering her from the artificial sun, several groups of people had whispered in their ears “Earthbounder! She’s an Earthbounder!”
“Let’s ignore the Earthbounder sweetie..”

But it didn’t matter, Alice didn’t treat Spacebounders like them any differently than an Earthbounder. She wasn’t like her father, a man whose desire to show supremacy within the Earth Sphere Regime but executing Spacebounders, she didn’t want to repeat that horrid cycle, not like she needed anyways. Her life was her life. In her view, hordes of people gathered, all in a crowd as she excused her way in. The center point was a stage with speakers, a man in formal green clothing with his hair slicked back holding a microphone as he glamorously raised his arm into the air.
“Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome all to the wonderful world of Assault Arena! This is our 13th tournament so far, please! All are welcome!”
The…Assault Arena? That sounded interesting, yet it wasn’t ready for her yet, really there was no way to even participate, no human after all could catch up with an Assault Armor.
“Now! Please welcome our fighters for the first round!”

The crowd cheered, some being pushed by others. A group of young people gathered around each other as Alice was pushed and bumped into, she nearly fell as she reached for the sky with her palm. She was about to fall until—

An arm reached out to her, a younger looking girl with ragged clothes and even messier hair helped her back up as her head nearly hit the ground. The girl smiled in silence, though she wasn’t expecting an award from a rich Earthbounder like Alice.
“So you’re an Earthbounder? I could tell because Spacebounds have no problems easily getting up before hitting their head!”
The girl said bluntly, nervously Alice laughed along, rubbing the back of her head.
“Well…I am an Earthbounder..I’m moving here from Earth actually.”
“Woah! You mean that Slum?! No way…I thought Earthbounders couldn’t afford to even ride an airplane!”
The girl reached her hand out for a handshake.
“I’m Gris, Gris Ra Yutila! You probably think I’m some Spacebounder, nah, I’m an Alien Rider!”
Alice was in shock, gasping at Gris Ra Yutila’s reveal.
“A Alien Rider..?”
“Yeah! I got some friends like that too, speaking of which have you seen my brother—”

Gris crossed her arms, looking around as Alice tilted her head in confusion. Was she really looking for her brother, or looking like an idiot? She didn’t know what Gris wanted at that point of time.
“Gris! Where are you!?”
A wimpy and frail voice called out to the girl, in the distance a tall young man and a Squad of people ran up to Alice and Gris, all out of breath and sweating.
“Ah, there you are big bro! Introduce yourself, this is an Earthbounder I just met! Her name is uhh…”
Freyja let a giggle slide out from her covered mouth, she was pleased to meet this Squad of people whom Gris knew..
“I’m Alice Freyja, daughter of Lewis Freyja.”
“O-oh! Well…I’m Platina Ra Yutila-! This is Anemoi, Suji and—”
“Wait hold up, Freyja?! You're the actual daughter of Lewis Freyja?!”
A smaller one of the Squad pushed their way through Anemoi and Suji, making themselves known, similarly dressed to Alice, her enthusiastic voice sounded elegant yet not too much to look down on anyone.
“Joel..”
“He’s the greedy rich man who backs up the Earth and Space Sphere Regime that everyone hates!”
Anemoi chimed in, with silence, Suji nodded as Joel laughed, her smile full of joy and glee as she took a stare at Alice, staring right into her face.
“Should we even turn a blind eye to this girl anyways Gris? Really…I don’t trust most Earthbounders!”
“W-well..I’m not like my Father-!”

A boom, a deafening noise as the crowds of civilians screamed. Gunfire was heard as multiple Assault Armors barged into the colony with machine guns and rocket launchers, the debris had gotten worse as from the distance, contrails formed as the Ser Jem Assault Armors crashed down, some being shot down while others continued the fight.
“M-maybe we shouldn’t be standing so still around forty nine foot tall war machines—!”
Suji suggested, turning his head up as Shadur and Ser Jem engaged in hand to hand ground combat near the group. Gris and Platina immediately knew what to do, both holding onto Alice as everyone immediately followed them, with Alice squirming in the air.
“L-let me go! I—can run!”
“Haha! Hell nah, no Earthbounder can run properly on modified gravity without proper training!”
“G-Gris respectfully, I feel like we should let her run by herself!”
Platina turned to his sister, trying to keep up with her pace as the buildings and Assault Armors dropped one after the other.
“Nah, she’d probably—”
“WATCH YOUR STEP GRIS!”
Suji exclaimed, grabbing onto the three with all his strength. Crashing down from the sky was a Shadur as it dropped its rifle, the Ser Jem opposing it would attempt to stab the Shadur with its Beam Saber, yet—
It was useless, with the Ser Jem’s entire right shoulder being eviscerated by a beam blast, following that, the Shadur and Full Raven stabbing the Jem’s chest, the Armor falling down to the ground as sparks flew.
“If you don’t mind, maybe we should stop talking and speed up?!”
Alice suggested.
“Yeah! We should definitely do that!”
Anemoi replied with, grabbing onto everyone as they began to run.

The silent hum of Lisht’s Full Raven as it fired its rifles towards the Settlement and its people, blood and bodies dropping, only seen through the reflection of Lisht’s mask eye holes. He sat there, emotionless and wuthering, gallanting to where civilians ran. Karuit and Armag’s Shadurs moving in and firing, the former taking cover as Armag would fire back.
“Lt General Lisht! Something breached from within the Settlement’s windows!”
Karuit yelled, Armag immediately firing into the air as the unknown entity entered the airspace.
“Two o’clock! Watch out!”
“Enemy has Beam Weaponry. Approach with risk.”
“B-Beam Weaponry?!”
“Enemy is using a Monsoon—Target has taken down first tier defenses and attacks—Commencing second tier attacks!”
It was hard for Karuit to process, really all he could do was listen and follow as his Shadur would fire at the target. It’s Monsoon firing back as the Full Raven and Karuit and Armag’s Shadurs retreating. Yet—

An explosion set the three apart, Armag’s Shadur ended up being shot at by the Beam Rifle of the enemy, with its head exploding down to the entire body. Karuit’s Shadur now dashing backwards as the Full Raven fired its Rifle back, the shot had caused the Shadur to tumble, its chest crushed by the Monsoon that had been tossed at it resulting in the buildings being destroyed upon its descent to the ground.
“Armag’s down!”
Karuit in all his confusion and frustration took cover, watching the fight continue he needed a way to—
The quick rush of pain suddenly hit Karuit, his Shadur’s arm being stabbed as the sparks flew from every direction. In his view point, a Ser Jem stood him down as the Shadur kneeled to the ground, attempting to aim its rifle to no avail..
“…”
Bracing the worst to come, Karuit closed his eyes as the Ser Jem raised its blade into the air, Karuit didn’t come so far in life…yet, he wanted to, and this was the end of the line for him—

The Ser Jem had been bashed into by the Coleda as the Full Raven was slammed into a building. The Squad who had taken cover whilst getting into a vehicle watched as the Coleda attempted to rip apart the Full Raven, inside the Armor was someone broken beyond repair..Alice was the one who took notice of Coleda however, like it was a child forced to fight, she couldn’t do anything about it.
Lisht was only annoyed by the futile attempts of the Coleda’s attacks, watching it grip its fists and punch as the Coleda reeled its arms back. The Full Raven decided to do the same, retaliating with its own punch. The two began exchanging blows, with the Coleda getting a lucky shot, the Full Raven fired back with a rifle, the opposing Assault Armor took cover as the ground shook from their weight. The rifle ran out of ammo, and the silence was abrupt as smoke and fire reached into the air.
“Where did that—”
From its hiding spot, the Coleda would use its Vulcans to shoot down the Full Raven, in its hand a rifle from the Ser Jem. It didn’t seem to use the Beam Rifle, not like last time, and it felt like it was saving something. But nonetheless, the Coleda had backed the Full Raven into a corner at the same time shooting the rifle, yet the Vulcans only had limited ammo as…crank, it had run out of bullets to fire. Now the Full Raven and Coleda had equal grounding, with the ladder’s back dropping a handle, revealing two beams that ejected from each side, the Coleda was in trouble, no…
Sashi was in trouble.
“The Vulcans ran out of Ammo—!”
In response to the Raven’s weapon, the Coleda braced itself and fired the rifle to which—the Full Raven simply slashed at the bullets, melting them at the simple presence of its beam staff.
“Useless bullets have no effect against any beam weaponry…you may be a high performance Assault Armor, but you are no Kamen Rider!”

He had enough, watching the Coleda miss its shots, the Full Raven decided to do worse, punching back and revealing its monoeye to the Coleda, resulting in a kick that launched the Coleda back into some buildings, after that the Full Raven began to move forward towards the Coleda, reaching for its horn-
Bonk. A bunch of rocks had been thrown at the Full Raven, preventing it from reaching the Coleda, which had lowered its head down in defeat. Lisht found it irritating as the Full Raven turned its attention to the ones who had thrown the rocks, it was Platina and his friends who had all shouted at the Full Raven to go away, but it instead attempted to shoot them with its spare rifle, aiming.
“STOPP!”
Sashi could only hear screams and yells of a savior, the Coleda was barely responding to its controls and she was able to watch as innocent lives would be harmed. She didn’t want that, she wouldn't! But there was no way to move, and every option left was either too risky or too dangerous. Isamu wanted—no, she needed to save those lives, but there was no way..
“…Mom. I failed to save people..”
But, a failure is but another step to victory.
“STOOOPPPPPPP!”

Beyond the data storm, a hum reached out for Sashi as her eyes opened in shock. The voice, the melody, that sweet voice. Where did it come from? Isamu didn’t know, she didn’t want to figure it out yet she felt like it meant business.
“Sashi…Sashi…”
“How do you—”
Glare. A flash blinded Sashi in a near instantaneous moment, her brain and eyes being flashed with data at faster rates than before, she couldn’t handle it as her scars lit up, spreading across her body. She ached in pain, wanting it to stop and go away, however…it was also a way to fight back. With this much information being given into Sashi, it had flowed back into the Coleda, its displays glitching only to finally display…

L.A.N.A.

The acronym confused Sashi as Coleda's eyes turned a bright blue, under the face shield of the Armor. Sashi raised her arms under confusion, trembling as the Coleda moved its hands in sync with its Pilot, the scars didn’t vanish, in fact they remained yet the data storm was still pumping right into Sashi’s brain. No, it wasn’t pumping it was..directly sending it right into her brain, she couldn’t keep it but L.A.N.A seemed to help with it—now..!
“I don’t understand what’s going on…!”
The tired and stressed Sashi with all her might pushed the Coleda’s controls to maximum, every step forward the Coleda took as it reached its hand and—
“But I’ll—ngh…let it be done!”
An uppercut towards the Full Raven, its entire body staggered with Lisht’s control over the Armor failing, crashing into the ground as the Coleda made its move towards the Raven, a bright blue glow appearing…its face began to transform…revealing…
Kamen Rider.
“..A Kamen Rider?!”
His face of pure shock as the thing’s true eyes revealed itself, the high performance Assault Armor was…a Kamen Rider!
Alice raised her arms in fear as the Full Raven came tumbling to the ground. She didn’t know what to do as Suji kept driving, trying to get a good distance from the fight. The Coleda had picked up the Full Raven by its neck, its foot moved forward and from its back. Wings of multiple colors lit up behind it with feathers falling from the blooming appendages, with it now taking flight at alarming speeds, causing the windows to shatter as it dragged the Full Raven across the Settlement. Both it and the Coleda would begin to rotate to adjust with the Settlement in sync.

There—really was no way that Lisht could escape its grasp, yet the Full Raven kicked the air anyway. The Coleda then threw itself forward at the Raven, launching its fist into the Armor's head as the right monoeye shattered upon its impact, with Lisht now losing almost all of his vision. In response the Raven would shoot at the Coleda and kick at it, releasing it from its grip.
“I didn’t know it was a Kamen Rider Type…Janus you—!”
Glare, Lisht felt a presence in front of him as the Full Raven began to adjust with the gravity in mid air, Lisht was being bombarded by the Layer 10 that had suddenly flowed waves of data into his mind. Yet his will was strong as the Full Raven flipped itself, shooting at the Coleda whose wings had blocked the shots, firing the plumage like bullets. The Full Raven unfortunately couldn’t keep up as its right monoeye was shattered, it was impossible to keep up this way, whatever the reason why the Coleda got stronger was—
“Lt General! Our scans have detected it’s gone Psycho Mode! Those wings are—!”
The communications had been cut off, Lisht was really in a bad situation after all.
“No pilot has ever gone Psycho Mode in battle! How could this be?!”
“Agh…I’ll…I’ll..”

Foaming at her mouth, the Layer 10 scars extended out to Sashi’s entire body as her eyes began to rapidly glitch and change in color. Now the Coleda was going as fast as it possibly could, landing a knee kick to the Full Raven’s face shattering the left eye completely and blinding Lisht, the impact of the kick caused its synchronization with the Settlement to fail. Now it began to free fall and tumble towards the ground, but in its last attempt and with the limited vision, it had shot at the Coleda with its rifle, aiming for the shoulder as it successfully hit.
“AGHH—!”
Sashi screamed, but this was only the beginning for Lisht. Really he couldn’t do much now, but the humming and data storms kept on going. That humming…
“It's the L.A.N.A’s melody…I…it’s…!!”
“COLEDAAAAAAAA!”
The brief burst of light blinded Lisht, the Full Raven slamming straight into the ground as the Coleda dove down, creating a crater in the ground with feathers from the plumage falling as a result. The Assault Armor kneeled as the giant wings retracted itself with a big loud boom, the wind was soft and gentle, and it was all quiet, the vehicle that the group of Riders and Alice was only a distance away as they followed the feathers that fell to the ground. In every distance, buildings and people laid waste, corpses rotting as they reached out for each other and the heavens, Alice couldn’t stand what she saw…but her eyes would be focused on the damaged Coleda. However, in the sky, reinforcements had come and it didn’t look like they were on the good side at all…yet really, Alice and the others wanted to hope for the best.
“S-Suji! Get near the Assault Armor!”
“W-why?!”
“Trust me!”

Inside the Coleda’s cockpit, Sashi’s Layer 10 scars vanished, her eye covered in blood, so did her nose as it dripped onto her suit. Her arms shook from the sheer adrenaline as the Coleda stood still, moving her hands in shock as she placed her arms onto two separate levers, she was starting to faint yet with all her strength…and a scream to boot, Sashi would cause the L10 Driver’s grips to be pushed forward.
..The Coleda disappeared as sparks of Layer 10 rose into the air. Sashi had been free falling towards the ground with her hand reaching for the sky. She felt weak and unresolved, her revenge…worthless. Truly, she was alone in this world.

Now reaching their hands up, Platina, Anemoi, Suji, Gris and Joel along with Alice grasped for Sashi as she fell, all now catching her with their arms. Sashi’s eyes couldn’t open properly, with it turning blurry. Her smile was apparent as the Squad now caught her within their hands.
“Gotcha!”
They all said in unison.

Alice held Sashi within her arms, holding onto her in the way most would. She gave a smile towards the now exhausted Sashi.
“Is she ok…?”
Gris asked, poking at her face.
“We won’t really know if we just stay here…it’s better that—”
Suji sighed as the two began debating whether or not they had just rescued an actual corpse and not a barely breathing pilot. Noticing the L10 Driver made him realize how dangerous this all was…
“An L10 Driver…”
Guns had been aimed at the Squad, soldiers now taking aim. Between all of them, a middle aged woman with baggy eyes and tall posture stood, signaling to lower their guns with a single finger, she took an inspection towards the Squad before quickly adjusting her tie..
“Kaori. Kaori Miya, captain of the Claverhouse, Victoria-class warship. I’ll be taking you all in for questions..”
Now confused, the Squad had been frozen in shock.
“What?!”
