He didn't know how long he'd been staring, and only caught the tail end of Buck's sentence as he came back to himself, finally wrenching his eyes away from— from Buck's tits. He tried to think of any other way to say it, but that's what they were, in that moment. It was all he could think.
"Huh?" Eddie's cheeks flushed red, heating up as he finally met Buck's gaze with his own.
"Are you okay? You look like you're about to jump out of your skin." Buck looked like he was holding in a laugh. He probably was, Eddie must've looked hilariously stupid right about then.
"I'm, uh— I'm fine. Yeah," Unable to hold the eye contact anymore, embarassment overwhelming him, Eddie looked toward the ground as he spoke. "Nice costume."
He could practically hear the smirk in Buck's voice. "You're not mad I'm going as your ex for Halloween?"
Eddie turned to level Buck with a glare that didn't hold any real heat, aiming a finger at him accusingly, "You did this just to mess with me, didn't you?"
Buck gets the nun costume from Spirit Halloween and Eddie has a mini gay crisis over it.
