"....mi! Rumi! Wake up! wake up!!"
Rumi groaned in pain when Zoey barge into her room that morning and decided that the best way to wake her up is to jump and tackle her while asleep.
"Zoey~ please...need...more...sleep" she groggily responds, pushing their maknae off and covered herself with the blanket, hoping that she'll get the message.
"The Saja Boys' car is outside! Jinu's looking for you!"
Rumi immediately jumps to her feet, fatigue immediately replaced with a newly acquired adrenaline that she gets everytime she hears the mention of that name.
"Oh my God" she curses under her breath, getting up to look for her slippers and then proceeds to prance around the room trying to figure out what to do next "W-what do I do Zoey? How do I look? I haven't taken a shower I haven't-"
"No time! They're in a hurry! Zoey cuts her off, excitedly pushing her to the elevators with Mira tailing them closely looking like she had been dragged out of her bed as well.
Self consciousness engulfs her as soon as she sees him leaning over the car door, all dolled up in his unmistakable stage outfit for Soda Pop. Zoey had her come down here to meet him in her pajamas and although Jinu probably wouldn't care, she's still a little bit embarassed by her lack of presentation.
"Rumi" he smiles, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head as soon as she came close enough.
"What are you doing here?" Her question came off as demanding instead of endearing since she's aware they had an audience who would tease and mock them excessively after they're done.
"Oh umm...the Saja Boys will go on a tour for a few days"
Rumi raised her brows, tilting her head in question as if asking why there is a need for him to come over and do all this.
"I just want you to know I'll be gone for a few days and just came here to say goodbye"
Rumi hums in acknowledgement, awkwardly nodding her head to his words without giving everything much thought as she was more focused on the fact that she's standing in front of him severely underdressed and barefaced while he looks like he'd just stepped out of a magazine all polished and undeniably good-looking.
"Okay bye." she says, half prepared to bolt to her room wherein she'll hide under her covers once again in shame and regret of not sending him off properly.
"Yeah uh- bye~"
She took his nervous response as her cue to run, but before she could, she had sensed him leaning in and on instinct she turns to face him just in time for their lips to meet. It was quick, his lips barely grazing above her own when both of them immediately jumped back, staring at each other in surprise. Rumi had assumed that he did that on purpose but looking at his confused look proved her otherwise.
And before Jinu could say anything else, he was cut off by the loud cheering and whistling from the car, which she can only assume are from the other Saja Boys, simultaneously congratulating him for finally taking this very big step to initiate a kiss.
One very awkward and short kiss that caused her brain to malfunction as she was still unable to move from her spot even after witnessing Jinu being dragged inside the car by his other members and hearing one of them, particularly Baby say "That was the lamest kiss I've ever seen in my entire life" before they drove off.
"That went well! Didn't it Rumi?" Zoey's words didn't register in her brain immediately. Her mind was still elsewhere, specifically at that moment when they kissed. She brings her hand to her lips, fingertips unconsciously brushing that particular spot.
"He kissed me" she kept her voice at a whisper but her friends still caught wind of it.
"Only you would call that a kiss" Mira laughs
"That was my first kiss"
Her friends were surprised at that revelation of course. Rumi and Jinu have been suspiciously discreet with their 'business meetings' and everytime they asked, they couldn't even get a word out of her to share her experiences "It was? I thought you guys have been seeing each for months"
"Yeah but we never kissed! We held hands! We hugged! No kisses!"
Mira shakes her head in confusion, asking Rumi a dozen of questions at once until she starts making sense "I don't understand are you guys high-school? When you date someone, you're bound to kiss them eventually and maybe even more"
"More? What do you mean more?"
Mira and Zoey exchanged looks as they both come to realization. Rumi asking them what 'more' means could only mean one thing.
That both her and Jinu are hopeless when it comes to relationships
"Oh my God! Look at me? I look like a fetus! I haven't brushed my hair and I haven't even brushed my teeth!"
Rumi was having a meltdown on the side of the road in her pajamas like a crazy person. It was a funny sight for sure, but her friends had decided to whisk her back inside the tower before the cameras could catch them.
