   Summary

   Mike Wheeler has spent the last four years of college wandering aimlessly through life. He'd followed Will to California, only for Will Byers, his best, most trusted friend, to slowly phase himself out of his life. And frankly, he'd seemed happier without Mike. What was he supposed to make of that?

   But then, Mike discovers some things about himself. He starts to find the pieces that he was looking for. And... what is Will supposed to do with that?

   (aka: a post-canon "mike finds his way back to will eventually" 90s college fic, in which will byers gets to scream at mike a lil like he deserves, and mike gets to prove himself in return)
