"An Apocalypse Christmas"

It was an eerily quiet day, when all throughout the wilderness, not even a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Then suddenly, an excited child's voice rang out all throughout.
"Please can we go outside! I want to play in the snow!" Ethan begged.
He looked at his father with a finger pointing to the window. Noah was hesitant.. He went over to the window. He peeled back the paper covering it. He sighed.
"Sure kiddo..!" He smiled. He wasn't sure.. He was worried. But his baby boy hasn't been this happy for a while. He wanted it to last as long as possible.
Ethan instantly grabbed Noah's hand, running outside. Eventually, everyone else came outside in their winter gear as well! I mean.. What they have scavenged for the cold winter.. It was cold, very cold. The snow gently covered the people outside, the trees, the ground, everything.
Yuuka held Gabriel's hand the entire time, helping him wander with her. Ethan picked up snow and made a snowball! He excitedly showed Noah. Noah smiled and placed a gentle hand on Ethan's head.
"That's a good snowball kiddo!" He stated.
"Yay!" Ethan exclaimed.
He gave the snowball to Noah with a huge smile on his face. Sun made a snowball and aggressively threw it right at Devland's head. Devland stared at Sun silently. He blinked before he kneeled down making multiple snowballs.
"Uh ohh! You should run Sunny..." Wisdom giggled,
Sun ran behind Wisdom.
"WHAT?! NOT BEHIND ME!" Wisdom shouted.
Sun put her hands on Wisdom's shoulders to stop her from running.
Everyone bonded and played like children for hours. Luckily, no creatures snuck up on them to disturb they're peace. They went to sleep all tired and happy. Just to wake up to another day of that endless world.
