It was summer break, the sun was up in the sky blinding and burning people, Craig was in Tolkien's backyard with the rest of his friends and boyfriend, enjoying the giant pool, and eating sandwiches Clyde had made for all of them. Craig and Tweek were sitting under an umbrella with their feet on the water, Tolkien and Clyde were inside the pool, where the trees shadows protected them from the sun, and Jimmy was sitting on a chair next to Craig and Tweek, eating Clyde's sandwiches.

The blond was playing a game in his phone, while the other talked with Jimmy, suddenly, clouds slowly covered the sky, and Tolkien's father told them to get out of the pool since it was going to rain any second. The five boys quickly got inside, just before the first drops of rain hit the ground, Tolkien's father covered the pool with Craig's help, while him, Clyde and Tweek dried themselves. Jimmy was staring at the rain, sitting on the couch.

Craig was asked by Tolkien's parents to go take a bath so he wouldn't get sick, and that he could use his clothes, but he had his own clothes already. Half an hour later, he sat down on the couch with the rest.

-Dude, you didn't have to help my dad, I could've done it —He said, while Tweek cuddled closer to Craig

-Nah, I was outside anyway, 'sides —He turned to face him— You invited us here, it was the least I could do

-Heyheyhey —Clyde interrupted— Did you guys like the sandwiches I made?

-Hey were tasty —Tweek said, eating one

-You're eating one right now —Tolkien said while laughing

-Sho? —He was eating another one

-Hey! Le-Leave fo-fo-for us! —Jimmy snatched a sandwich from Tweek's hand

-Hey! I was saving that one for later! —He tried grabbing it back

-That's cheating! —Tolkien grabbed another sandwich

-Craaiiiiiiiggggg! —He tried dragging him to the little fight

-Nah ah ah, you asked for it —He ate a sandwich— Should've been faster —He winked an eye

-Thanks for the idea —He whispered, and snatched Tolkien's sandwich, eating it

-What the!? Craig! —He complained to the other

-I didn't say nothin' —He put his arms up while Tweek stuck his tongue out at him

Once it stopped raining, they went outside and walked down to the park, laughing and pranking each other, until it started getting dark, each of them went to their own houses, except for Tweek. He was going to stay over at Craig's house for a week.

While walking with Craig, holding hands, Tweek stopped, it was sudden, and tightened the grip in their hands, Craig asked if something was wrong, but the blond said it was nothing and they continued walking. They arrived at almost seven, and went straight to Craig's room.

The time was spent playing games and fighting over food, the usual. At least until it was time to sleep, Tweek just couldn't, he had been thinking for the past two weeks about something. Was their relationship still "pretend"? It had been years, they are already teenagers. Should they still be together?

Tweek couldn't get it all out of his mind, his head was starting to hurt a little. Craig touched his cheek, softly.

-What's wrong? You've been acting weird since we separated from the rest —He asked, half hanging from his bed

-It's just that... —He clenched his hands on the blanket— Craig, are we still "pretending" to be together?

-What? —He asked, genuinely confused

-Our... Our relationship started being fake, we didn't even like each other... Are we still, still pretending? —His voice cracked a little

-Tweek —He sat on his bed and then crawled next to the blond boy, grabbing his shoulders— Do you think I would let anyone else pet Stripe? Or steal my clothes? Or wear my hat?

-Well... No...? —He looked confused

-Maybe I should've said anything, long before... —Craig sighed and then grabbed Tweek's hands— If we're still together is cuz it's not pretend anymore, it stopped being a pretend relationship literal years ago

-Th-Then... —His cheeks started to burn, his whole face a slight red colour

-I love you, Tweek —He said, resting his head on top of his shoulder

-I... I love you too, Craig —Little tears ran down his chin, a bright smile in his face

They were never pretending.
