Summary
It was his time.
Even though he could not see the sea parting before him, he could feel the wind blowing upon him, he could feel the movement of the ship beneath him. He felt the person approaching him from behind before he was touched on the shoulder, so he wasn't surprised.
"We've arrived."
Aster simple nodded and allowed the man to guide him even though he had no need for a guide. He had long accepted his fate, for his family would be safe and sound, thriving without him there to be a useless weight.
