Summary
The year is 1999; a decade after the Party’s graduation and dissolution. Will Byers has travelled far from his hometown of Hawkins, running from his past whilst chasing the future. Now living in the cultural heart of Montreal, he has carved out success as an artist and illustrator, but finds himself devoid of everything that made him truly happy.
Socially isolated and haunted by ghosts, he takes life one day at a time. On a whim, he asks about the most influential of these ghosts—the man he once called his best friend. Expecting nothing, he is caught off guard when his inquiries lead him down a path he never could have predicted.
