#LISTING 1. Brown, closed-toe, faux leather, KR Kid’s Size 255: Suitable for kids between the ages of 2 to 3. Could be a little too tight on an older toddler’s feet. Frequently squeak. Impractical for hide-and-seeking. Or when attempting to avoid running into a childhood acquaintance’s deadbeat father.
#LISTING 2. Black, closed-toe, polyester, KR Kid’s Size 260: Laces are complicated to figure out. The same childhood acquaintance said to start by imagining the lopsided ears of a rabbit. At least it seemed to be what he said under his breath. Then he grunted and tied them himself anyway. A that they pity they eventually came loose.
#LISTING 3. White, closed-toe, polyester, KR Kid’s Size 260: Knew father would not be pleased with the mudprints in the house. But soccer at my acquaintance’s was still interesting. Never realized the game could be played between just two. Never realized there was a special move. Never realized losing could be quite like winning, too.
#LISTING 4. Yellow, open-toe, rubber, KR Kid’s Size 270: One of my acquaintance’s. Bigger than expected. Wore this while my childhood acquaintance wore the other. Appeared to be some kind of an apology for the other day. Felt funny hobbling between second grade classes on a single foot all day. Felt funnier to see said acquaintances do the same.
#LISTING 5. Black, closed-toe, faux leather, KR Kid’s Size 275: Impractical for wearing on the beach. Water makes them too heavy. Sand is difficult to get out. Got kicked by my acquaintance as a result. Hard ass, he surmised. Apologies to any parents looking at these for their children.
#LISTING 6. Blue, open-toe, rubber, KR Kid’s Size 280: Another one of my acquaintance’s gifts. More comfortable when wading into running waters. See above.
#LISTING 7. Black, closed-toe, polyester, KR Kid’s Size 275: Recommend being slow at figuring out the laces on these ones. Even if on purpose. Whoever can tell the difference? Good trick to convincing an acquaintance or two at still tying them for oneself.
#LISTING 8. Black, closed-toe, faux leather, KR Kid’s Size 280: Bear the reflection of a thousand falling stars. None of them worth a single won. Expensive as they are, they cannot be trusted to catch up to those speeding away from one in time.
#LISTING 9. Neon green, open-toe, rubber, KR Kid’s Size 280: Light up when stomped on with enough force. Such as when breaking away into a run. Bright enough to be visible from a distance.
#LISTING 10. Brown, closed-toe, full leather, KR Men’s Size 265: Father says it is about time we tried out menswear. Match with the suit. Father’s colleague spilled beer all over it. Vomit might be a more appropriate noun. The childhood acquaintance, who is a frequent appearance on these, scrunched his nose when he was told. He drew flowers on the side of them to give them their shine back. Or so he claimed. However, rest assured, father’s dry cleaners are capable of getting the toughest of red stains out.
#LISTING 11. Green, open-toe, nylon, KR Men’s Size 260: Gave it back to acquaintance after he dropped it in the playground during recess. Got accused of stealing it instead. Got accused of being like other kids in the class, too. So much for having good will. Lost a milk tooth earlier than planned.
#LISTING 12. White, closed-toe, plastic, KR Men’s Size 270: Good pair of cleats for those interested in soccer team tryouts. If one has any acquaintances with the tendency to chew gum, be on the lookout for the same while walking. The aftermath might be quite terrible, otherwise.
#LISTING 13. Black, closed-toe, polyester, KR Men’s Size 275: Easily identifiable from under the toilet stall. Do not wear when attempting to be discreet. Especially when going through stomach pains, however mediocre. Swift enough when stepping on a packet of tablets slid under the door. Careful not to step on the ringed hand passing the same.
#LISTING 14. Black, closed-toe, polyester, KR Men’s Size 280: Do not recommend when practicing dancing with childhood acquaintances. The impact of the other foot can still be felt through the material. However, they make for a good support for other activities that may require any acquaintances to stand on one’s shoes to get a better grip around one’s neck.
#LISTING 15. Blue & Green, open-toe, rubber, KR Men’s Size 275 & 280: Can only be sold in a pair. Cheap enough to leave on the shore while one dips their toes in for a quick second. Colors may clash side by side. It makes for a sore enough sight.
#LISTING 16. White, closed-toe, full leather, KR Men’s Size 285: The material holds during situations that may require one to race at full speed. The antiseptic smell has lingered in spite of multiple washes. The kind used at hospitals appears to be a little stronger than the commercial kind.
#LISTING 17. Green, open-toe, nylon, KR Men’s Size 275: A little worn out. Sole does appear chipped. Bright, but not bright enough to wear when crossing the road at night. Dry cleaners have gotten out most of the red staining.
#LISTING 18. Dark brown, closed-toe, full leather, KR Men’s Size 285: Suitable from all kinds of black-tie occasions, if one is having a hard time locating their sturdy pair of black leather shoes. For once, one may find oneself matching with one’s childhood acquaintance.
#LISTING 19. Yellow, open-toe, rubber, KR Men’s Size 275: Easy to remove without touching. Fifty-percent off. No longer fit anyone in close proximity.
#LISTING 20. Black, closed-toe, polyester, KR Men’s Size 285: Might have to tie the laces on these all alone.
