Summary
After losing contact with his longest friend, the death of his parents and having to raise his younger sister, Kenma can say that he’s finally having a pretty good life, with amazing new people in it to forget about the old ones, he thinks he’s ready to forgive and move one.
That’s it until he sees Kuroo Tetsuro’s in a train station after eight years, dark eyeballs, pale skin and dirty clothes with a crying baby in his arms.
Life really seems to be ironic for him sometimes.

Dabi could laugh. “You’re still a few years too early to be flying close to this sun, birdie.”
▪️!! First of all, Hawks being so so smart and analytical even as a 15 year old that he quickly realizes what the situation is about. I really like that bc it gives him some control!! And also him yearning for Dani and the softness he gives him.

Hawks was replaceable and unimportant to every person in his life. And he stands here, now, at the age of fifteen with full acceptance of his circumstance.And it’s only fifteen. There are seven more years to let that reality sink in, and yet he’s already this tired. This yearning, for a sunrise at the balcony of a fucking villain hideout, of all things.

“You let me kiss you,” Hawks says quietly.“You kissed me,” Dabi says just as quietly. It’s the weakest fucking argument in the world. They’re still arguing. This is a fight, but there’s no winner. The truth is, they both have lost a lot. Touya lost everything. Keigo was never allowed to have anything of his own.
Dabi and Hawks sit on this couch as a direct result of that. Neither of them have turned out better because of it. Hawks is right. It’s just fucked up.
▪️ I really loves this fic so much !! It's such a bittersweet ending as well, but then you can't really expect dabihawks to end up as anything but, that's their whole dynamic!! I really like the way the author made the deaged quirk work, bc Hawks slowly ages up but has the memories of this moments as if it happened ages ago and it's so interesting and good for his character !! And also Dabi getting to understand and see all this pieces of Keigo and Hawks and the in between in the way the commission groomed him!!
