Shouto huffs a small laugh, and then he smiles. Quiet falls into the night, and Katsuki almost thinks Shouto thought he was joking. But after several minutes, he speaks again.
“Sure, Major Dick,” Shouto says, “Let’s be roommates.”

“The fucking suit, Izuku! God, how dense are you?” He drops his hold on the tie, and shoves Izuku away. “That was everything I ever wanted to say all in one package, and you didn’t see it. You didn’t get it. And then I fuckin’ invited you to my agency, and you said—” he hiccups, “You said no. And I told you that you might be missing something right in front of you, and you turned around and walked away!”
Katsuki’s breath catches once, twice, and god fucking damnit Izuku knows, and then there’s a burn from his eyes, and why is it that he always fucking cries in front of him?

Lucius had surely regretted his pronouncement, but it was too late. So, he declared that the illness would be hidden from the world, seeing the shame that would surely fall on the Malfoy name for having a blemish in the bloodline. But all that Draco saw when he looked at his brother was the way he ran giggling through the gardens, came to Draco when he was tired, never once complained about his increasing pain. To him, his brother was perfect, and Draco would do anything to protect him.
One year after losing the Battle of Hogwarts, the Order of the Phoenix is in hiding and entirely unaware of any of this when Draco Malfoy marches up to their door.

SUCH an interesting story. the complex and disturbing relationship between draco and voldermort is phenomenal, draco is so numb after everything that he only cares for delphi, and voldermort tries to play mental games and torture him at first, but draco is just so detached that it doesn’t work. and i think after that voldermort gets curious about him, watching him and his daughter like pets in a zoo, and they’re a weird family but also they’re prisiones in a gilded cage and voldermort maybe cares but also he doesn’t understand feelings at all and it’s all a mess, and i love the complexity of it all
