Isaac was used to pain.
A life of dealing with Fibromyalgia had long-since conditioned him to deal with physical discomfort, and that wasn't even touching how much pain he'd been in when he was recovering from top surgery.
Still, none of that prepared him for the pain of being impaled on a meathook.
He couldn't even stay still either, though. No, he had to fight against the Entity, which was trying its damn best to take his life.
Everything hurt, tears were silently crawling down his face, and he was beginning to lose hope.
But then, suddenly, he was free.
Trevor had come to his rescue, taking him down from the hook.
"Come on" he said, gesturing for Isaac to follow him. "We gotta get out of here before the Huntress realizes I saved you"
"Hurts" Isaac whimpered. Every square inch of his body was on fire, the stress of the situation sending him into a flare-up on top of the pain from where he'd been impaled. Trevor sighed and picked him up, slinging him over his shoulder.
If this were any other situation, Isaac would've been pissed but, considering he was delirious from pain and practically unable to escape on his own, he didn't put up a fight.
The pair narrowly escaped the Trial, and Isaac knew he owed his life to Trevor. The vampire hunter dismissed this, though.
"Just get yourself checked out by a medic and we'll call it even" he said firmly, knowing Isaac might've been too proud to get help otherwise. Isaac nodded in agreement.
"Deal"
