The pulse beneath (An undead heart can beat)

Summary:

In the XVII century, a thin veil separates common mortals from a world of monsters. While most live in blissful ignorance, a chosen few—Sorcerers, Fighters, Knights, and Paladins—fight the shadows behind closed doors. Arrayed against them are ravaged beasts, power-hungry Warlocks, and Soulmasters who resurrect the dead. Yet, none are more feared than the Bloodborn: vampires with ruby eyes and lethal fangs, divided between high-born clans and those sired for cruel amusement.
Will Byers, a Sorcerer born with innate magic, and Mike Wheeler, a Paladin sworn to divine justice, have spent their lives conquering evil in secrecy. Their bond is as unbreakable as their blades, until a moment of levity turns into a curse. During a journey, the duo visits a fortune teller for sport. She reads a dark path in the stars, a prophecy they mock as they walk away, laughing at the "nonsense" of destiny.
But fate is not easily mocked. Disaster strikes with a swift, cold hand, dragging them into the very darkness they were warned of. The undeniable destiny foretold by the stars unfolds, shattering their world and changing the course of their lives forever.

Hello! My name's Noa and I have been writing little fictions and letters for quite some time, but have kept them to myself until today. Therefore, I tend to mention it might contain some little errors, I will try to avoid them, however I am a tiny bit dyslexic and the chances of mistaking something are pretty high.
So yes, cringe stuff is basically a part of me and I love that. Although I keep it for myself, a tiny can be shown towards the people I am close to.
I want to mention some things firstly:

Wizards and sorcerers are NOT the same. Wizards learn to cast spells, sorcerers are born with the ability to do such.
Knights and Paladins are NOT the same. A knight is loyal to the king or ruler and a paladin for their chosen God.

This story's a bit inspired by the scenarios I've been thinking of towards my way to sleep, soo why not put 'em into act, right?
One more thing (I'll mention on chapters, if necessary) I need to inform u all that those turned into bloodbourns differ from one another because of: (Edit 6th of July: NICE NOA ON POTENTIALLY SPOILING SOMETHING) 1) the one who has turned 'em
And 2) what they have been before transitioning. (Ex human< fighter < clan leader) iykwim..
