Summary
Being nearly killed by Adam has rattled Alastor to his core, making him fully realize the limitations Rosie’s deal had on him. He can’t let it happen again. He had to do something. He had to get more powerful.
And what would give someone more power than becoming part of the Morningstar family? Alastor was of the impression that the king of hell himself was a pathetic, snivelling fool still hung-up on his old love, but it was worth a shot.
