Summary
The excitement of finally having Alastor under his clutches has faded, leaving nothing but dullness in its wake. Wrongness, one might say. Wrongness that permeated every feeling that crossed Vox's spiralling mind.
His blood on his hands did not satisfy him. Breaking down before him even less so. And storming out of the room, just to take out his frustrations on his own body, alone, with nothing but the glow of countless screens displaying one image to accompany him? It only served to break whatever shred of sanity Vox still had within him.
But perhaps it’s not too late, even now, to bring back what could have been right.
TLDR// Vox is pining for a lover. Alastor is pining for a friend. Both loathe it more than anything in the world.

Summary
The business trip to Louisiana was something Vincent had actually been looking forward to. After all, it was a golden opportunity to meet that radio host he’d been hearing so much about, and maybe strike up a little deal while he’s at it.
But that radio host seems to have far more to him than meets the eye. His strange reaction to being asked about his hobbies, his notoriety in the New Orleans nightlife scene, the way he apparently disappears for long periods of time… and when Vincent sees him walking out of a bar with a man, something clicks, and he thinks he’s figured it out.
Alastor is gay.
TLDR// Vincent mistakes Alastor’s serial killer behaviour as a sign that he prefers men. Confusion, self discovery, and more than a little violence ensues

Summary
Being nearly killed by Adam has rattled Alastor to his core, making him fully realize the limitations Rosie’s deal had on him. He can’t let it happen again. He had to do something. He had to get more powerful.
And what would give someone more power than becoming part of the Morningstar family? Alastor was of the impression that the king of hell himself was a pathetic, snivelling fool still hung-up on his old love, but it was worth a shot. He had no qualms about making him a twice-divorced man after the marriage went through and that power was his.
He underestimated the effect his advances on Lucifer would have on the the people around him, specifically the one who had been obsessing over him for almost seventy years.
