Chapter Text
Fresh start. Isn't that what everyone wants? Not for Tommy. Never for Tommy.
You see, Tommy is someone who would be at the highest rank of the food chain in high school. He was a part of the hierarchy some might say. But apart from all of that, he was loved and feared by everybody, and he thrived off it. Why show your insecurities when you can display others' insecurities? Plus, it masked any sense of weakness. Plus, women love him. And he loves them. He thinks at least. Some of his popularity stemmed from the fact he was an avian with the most eye-catching wings. Red and white splattered throughout these delicacies… it was the prettiest thing that could be admired off him. Although, he was a majorly beautiful boy some might say. Blonde curly hair branched off his head whilst these radiating blue eyes scanned every little moment.
Life was going great in his high school. It was not perfect, but if he could manipulate the wires that create this school, it was enough for him. He wouldn't call himself a bully. Well... Whoever gets hurt from his words are weak and need to be toughened up anyway.
He was happy.
Until
His stupid bitch ass fuck up which he will never disclose to the public and was never EVER his fault.
Okay, it may not have been known to him that some hybrids can smell weed more prominently than others. Well, at least he was unaware that snake hybrids have a major sense of smell. Especially if said snake hybrid was the head of this school.
That's why he is now sat. Bored. Gazing out the rain-covered window thinking about what the fuck he is going to do. He had heard horror stories of students from this school, its pupils and even the teachers. But knowing this does not stop his rise for a challenge. He will find someone to dote on it may just be harder this time. But don't worry Tommy Kraken Danger Innit loves a challenge.
Although the downside to this school and his past schools is that it is a boarding school for mostly orphans which included himself which meant an everyday never-ending scene with the same boring unappealing background characters with the same old sob story. His story was not special in the slightest, His mother killed herself from a crack overdose when he was four and his dad was never there emotionally or physically so he didn't really care for them nor did he express this sob story to anyone. The only gene he inherited from these relations was substance abuse and an eating disorder. Well, he wouldn't call it that. He just forgot to eat for a couple days, no big issue, it just made food more tasteful when he would eat!
The scenery beyond his passenger window was getting boring and repetitive. The same trees with the same leaves and bushes. Oh gosh, he can just imagine the dull atmosphere that this school could bring to him. He does not need to be depressed every day, thank-you. What if no one talks, and it's silence all the time? Tommy wouldn't survive, he would get expelled on the first day with no exceptions. It enrages him when thinking of-
“Thomas stop looking so annoyed it doesn't look good on you,” Margret stated clearly not having the best start to her morning “It's a special school it will help with… your behaviours”
As if his idea of school could not get any worse.
“So basically, I'm going to a school with a bunch of retards and faggots?” Tommy scowled, amusement lingering on his prepubescent features, this was going to be fun. Margret's face was appalling as it reddened from the shock and disgust that she just witnessed.
“Thomas, I will turn this car around and wash your mouth out with soap if you carry on any further.” Margret commanded as her eyesight was glued onto the dishevelled road ahead of her. Silence filled the atmosphere surrounding them. Tommy knew he took it too far, he always does. But as he believes, words are words, and you are clearly not ready for the real world if you can't take them.
After what felt like an eternity the car rolls to a stop, the trees open to reveal a large building far too colourful for his liking. It was massive, taking up every aspect of his eyesight. Students could be seen walking around smiles plastered onto their faces. Some small, some tall with such a range of hybrids which is almost unknown to him… A sign was plastered so brightly in front of his eyes which spoke
“A lifelong family of love & peace”
This was going to be a nightmare. Tommy's wings fluttered silently behind his back, destined for fresh air and sunlight, and for the first time in forever he felt nervous. His hands felt shaky and he felt raw. Scared, but he would never admit that.
Pulling him out of this trance was the opening of his door. When did Margret move? And when did she ever give me this treatment?
“Hello! Welcome to Sleepy academy, don't be afraid, you can step out!” Squeaked a voice which held his car-door, “Wait you can take your time, it is a big change. You look so sweet and cute! I'm so excited to meet-”
“Shut up, I'm getting out, I'm not a pussy.” Tommy hissed whilst crawling out of the claustrophobic mess he was sat in for 2 hours. His eyes met with this person as they flinched back, A goat hybrid Tommy assumed from the small horns ascending from his messy brown hair, he looked fragile and exactly bait for the big tommyinnits amusement. Maybe this school is not as bad as he thought…
As soon as Tommy got up his concentration moved from this new person and to Margret as if he were looking for guidance,
“This is-” Margret inquired
“Tubbo” The brunet stammered as his eyesight was set on the concrete beneath him and Tommy swore he could see a teardrop.
“He is going to bring you to the headmaster where you will then be directed and situated into your new school,” Margaret reported leaning in close to Tommy’s ear, “Don't fuck it up this time.”
Ouch. That stung a little. Not like Tommy would ever admit that, though. Margret spun to escape back to her car and drove off.
Silence flooded over the pair as a smug look took over Tommy’s face. Tubbo was inches taller than him but seemed so much younger and pure, Tommy was only 5ft due to being an avian was often annoying when trying to manipulate and belittle others for his own entertainment.
“So,” Tubbo squeaked from beside him as if he were rehearsing his words, “Let's go meet Philza!!” A smile crept over tubbos face as he started to guide Tommy to the school entrance, but it was clear it was fake.
Tommy was almost mesmerised by these surroundings, how can a place so ugly feel so welcoming? This is not anything like his old school, this is a challenge. But from the impressions of tubbo it is an easy challenge, and he is ready to face it.
