Scott was confused he had been stuck in his Tree for about 600 years he thought and now suddenly he could move he slowly shifted out of the tree walking on shaky legs what was going on. He didn’t know but he knew one thing for certain he needed a way to disguise his less humans attributes He walked over to where he had stashed a few things in a old hollow tree he pulled out a red cloak and draped in over his shoulders it was annoying not being able to see out of most of his eyes Due to the fabric covering them he walked over to the river that separated the pale oak forest from the dark oak one and checked his reflection in the water he pulled the hood over his hair which was more Like vines that grew from his head okay this would have to do if he Encountered humans. He weighed his options on one hand he could go back to his tree and be safe or he could go to town and figure out what was going on but he would most likely find humans. In the end his curiosity won and he walked to town.

Legs walked to town slowly pyro trailing behind him and quickly ran over his cover story again he was a doctor and pyro was his apprentice He heard seven heart beats And he walked into what must have been Oakhurst it was in simple terms a dump the only thing that seemed to be standing was the walls pyro stepped closer to legs as a purple eyed man ran towards them he was young and had a cross bow strapped to his back As well as a… stake oh god he was a vampire hunter legs sighed inwardly
“Hi I’m avid what’s you name?” avid asked fidgeting with the bandana around his neck
“my name is legoundo but you may call me legs and this is my apprentice pyro” he said gesturing at his Fledgling while he sidled closer to legs
“apprentice?” avid asked tilting his head in confusion
“I'm a doctor”
“Ohhh that makes sense I'm a vampire hunter” the boy said proudly pyro looked bout ready to at take the man before they were interrupted by a man in a red cloak
“Hi I'm Scott” He said holding out a gloved hand pyro stepped out from behind legs and shook it
“Hello I'm pyro” legs was about to reply when He noticed something, Scott didn’t have a heartbeat . Scott looked at him and seemed about ready to point out the staring when avid spoke
“I'm avid do you live around here?”
Scott snorted “heck no have you seen this place I would be concerned if someone lived here “another girl with red hair entered their conversation and legs tuned out most of their
introduction in favor of theorizing about what Scott was he didn’t think he was a vampire but he couldn’t have been alive either maybe he was a zombie or a poltergeist? Still he would need more evidence.
Legs flopped on a chair in his hastily made clinic. he had met the whole town and he was pretty sure he and pyro weren’t the only supernatural about. Pearl, Ren, Martyn, and Scott all smelled weird. Pyro sat down next to him
“Sire I believe there's another vampire in town”
“Really who?” legs thought he had an idea of who might be nonhuman but he was Curious to see what the Fledgling thought
“Scott he doesn’t breath and he seemed ignorant to current world happenings “
Legs hummed and thought over his answer “I agree with you I don’t think he’s human but I don’t think he’s a vampire either “
Pyro shot up “ooh I heard there’s a like cursed forest maybe he like a vengeful ghost” legs chuckled at the boys excitement for a usually serious and angry young man he still had these moments when the childlike wonder he was long denied peaked though their conversation was ended by a knock on the door. Pyro jumped up and answered
“Hi do you want to go exploring? “ pearl asked she was accompanied by Ren and Martyn legs shook his head he had stuff to do here but pyro nodded and looked at legs who shrugged he trusted his Fledgling to be sensible And keep his undead nature hidden. After pyro Had left with pearl Ren and Martyn he rose and went up to the second floor to fashion some sort of nest
