Summary
During a shift at the ER, Dennis “Huckleberry” Whitaker is bitten by a crazed, unrestrained patient who later dies under unclear circumstances. At first, it seems like just another workplace injury, something to clean, stitch, and forget. But the wound doesn’t heal right. Whitaker doesn’t feel right. The changes come slowly, then all at once, heightened senses, restless nights, a hunger he can’t quite name. He tries to hide it, brushes it off, buries it under long shifts. But Robby notices.
TLDR: Whitaker gets bitten by a feral patient and turns into a werewolf, Robby finds out and has to deal with it. Slow burn. Aiming for ~40 chapters.
