Being gay is a crime, monitored, corrected, erased.
In a hidden basement beneath the GDR's (DDR) tightening grip, four men who only know eachother as II, III, IV and Vessel meet under the cover of darkness, names replaced with numbers. Touch is cautious, the desperate. What begins as a single illegal night becomes a return to something truer than their state approved lives with Wives, Familys and Silence.
The room offers warmth, recognition and the fragile illusion of safety. But in the country nuilt on surveillance, even the dark has limits.
