Work Text:
Ravi wakes up first, eyelids fluttering as his nose crinkles from something tickling it, and his eyes find May's hair first. His lips curve into a tired smile as he takes in their position, leaning his head back enough to clear the tickling feeling from his nose.
Her head is curved on his shoulder, her breath ghosting over his chest, and one of her arms is looped over his chest so her fingers are barely tangled in his hair. Their legs are tangled together as her knee reaches across his hip, leg falling between his own. She's claimed him as both her pillow and personal heater apparently because the blankets are practically falling off of her.
The sun's just barely shining through her pink curtains, but it's a golden glow that halos around her head, dancing out of her eyesight enough for her to stay peacefully asleep.
"Where are my clothes?" mutters Ravi as he turns away, trying to avoid letting himself get lost in how adorable May is while she's sleeping.
He sees his button down and his pants, but his briefs are somewhere out of view apparently.
"Mm, stop moving," whines May as her hand slides down to gently pat his shoulder, like she's not quite awake enough to put force behind it.
"Okay, not moving anymore. I was just trying to make sure I can find my clothes because I don't know where exactly we got undressed last night," replies Ravi gently, amused as he turns his attention back to her, watching her nose scrunch while she squeezes her eyes shut a bit tighter.
"We'll do breakfast in like five minutes, just stay here. You don't need clothes for breakfast," grumbles May as she buries her face into Ravi's neck instead, sighing happily once she's comfortable.
"Oh, I don't need clothes for breakfast?" Ravi's amusement is curling the corners of his lips as his hands find her hips, gently squeezing them. "You sure about that, Princess?"
"Positive," huffs May as she knocks her head against his cheek gently. "Now shush. My body is still aching, don't move or make me move until that dumb alarm goes off."
"Alright, I'm not going anywhere… But could I have a kiss?" Ravi throws it out haphazardly, not expecting anything from it because it was meant to come off teasingly.
But then May lifts her head, eyes barely open, and she finds his cheek. She peppers kisses over his cheek until he turns his head a bit and their lips meet, and it's sleepy soft.
He kisses her back once, twice, then she dips back and burrows against his neck again.
"Five more minutes," murmurs May as she gets comfortable, her smile pressing into his skin.
Ravi holds her gently, happy to watch her fall back asleep only to wake up again when her alarm goes off. He wonders if there's a chance for him to have this sight for the rest of his life, maybe.
