Summary
An explosion at the Orlando PD draws the BAU into a case built on buried evidence, corrupted systems, and violence. What initially looks like a contained incident quickly expands into something more deliberate—and far more unstable than expected.
Some things don’t stay buried. Some minds don’t stay whole.
As the BAU closes in on an UnSub who is always one step ahead, Spencer begins to lose confidence in the only thing he has ever truly trusted: his own perception. Clues blur at the edges. Time slips in small, unexplainable ways, and when the team starts to notice that something is wrong, the line between what is real and what isn’t has already begun to fade.
