mclaren dont you dare fuck this up. i am warning you. there is so much i like about this fic. firstly media speculation. especially with ai and those horrible ai images. im with lando on this one that oscar in the rb uniform looks soulless and max looks horrible in papaya. secondly oscar saying he would genuinely consider rb. honestly valid on his part i mean zak does make extremely shitty decisions and honestly i dont trust him all that much with the gp situation. lando lowkey reacted like me with all the rumours i cant lie. thirdly the confession was everything. same with landos internal monologue about the difference between carlos and oscar as a teammate but also oscars perspective on it. i think we as fans need to understand it too that a relationship may look easier or different but by no means is it more important or stronger than another i mean my friendships with people most certainly do not look the same. finally the little one liners that made me giggle specifically at ferrari and george's expense (for example “Oscar leaves, Max comes, Carlos comes, Lando goes, Charles keep suffering, Lewis retires, George fights a child, whatever.”) the little title fight reference gave me flashbacks to 2025 and a little bit of 2024. i did not appreciate mclaren domination as much as i should have bro. side note the max and lando texting and calling was hilarious max is such a ragebaiting i love him. bro better not retire but also dont come to mclaren. all in all a banging fic considering and i even read it knowing it was an ambiguous ending meaning it was def amazing
