Chapter Text
There Wemmbu stood, defeated in an orbital stab hole he made. He had just admitted to being weaker than FlameFrags. In this type of event, Wemmbu would probably be pouting and trying to convince himself that it never happened, but right now, his body could barely react.
The world was dull and destroyed. His body and mind were like static. Wemmbu's surroundings felt like it was collapsing. It felt like he himself was falling. Yet he was numb.
Shortly after Flame left, LettuceK appeared out of nowhere, and decided Wemmbu was to be taken into custody. Wemmbu could barely protest. He emptied his inventory and his ender chest and followed Lettuce with heavy and hesitant steps. His body was ready to collapse, but Wemmbu persisted simply to not show any more weakness than he was already showing.
On the way to his cell, Wemmbu tried to glance around for anything useful. He noted everything, whether it seemed important or not. He had also been put through some procedures to ensure his inability to escape.
Once in his cell, Wemmbu began to think and plan on possible ways of getting out. Or at least he tried. He was far too exhausted to think clearly. It was probably best to rest for a while before coming up with a plan.
Later, it was time for dinner. A guard named Loppezz escorted Wemmbu and the other people out of their cells and into the cafeteria where a few familiar faces sat at a table. It was PrinceZam, Baablu, and Fanst. They looked depressed.
It had probably been a while from when they first entered the prison, which could explain their dull expressions. After grabbing his tiny portion of food, Wemmbu sat next to the trio.
Wemmbu immediately tried to inquire the three familiar prisoners about any escape plans they might have made. As soon as he mentioned escape, a guard dropped in from the ceiling. The guard asked about the topic of conversation.
It would have been over for them, they would have been punished and put into solitary confinement, but Zam managed to quickly ease the guard's suspicions and the guard simply returned to the ceiling. Lettuce did warn Wemmbu about people in the walls, but Wemmbu was barely paying attention, as he glanced around for possible escapes, and did not believe a word he said.
After the guard was gone, the three prisoners began to explain a summary of what is going on in the prison to Wemmbu, including the fact that the security is making it quite literally impossible to escape. This sounded really bad, but Wemmbu was certain that there would be a way to escape.
Dinner time was over and everyone was escorted to their cells. Wemmbu entered his cell and sat on his bed. It was an uncomfortable white bed, but it could at least decently keep him from feeling cold.
Thoughts filled Wemmbu's mind, but instead of thinking about escaping, his mind immediately went to the fact that if there really was no escape, he would not be able to see Eggchan. Egg would be lonely. Sure, he had MinuteTech, but he might not always be there, and Wemmbu was his only other friend.
If Wemmbu could not find a way to escape, Egg might get worried, or maybe he would think Wemmbu abandoned him. No. Wemmbu would never leave Egg behind, but if he could not escape...
Wemmbu's head was spinning. He laid down, curled up with fears and tears, and drifted off to sleep. His dreams did not differ from his thoughts, in fact, they could be considered worse.

Morning came around and Loppezz was waking everyone up for breakfast. When she got to Wemmbu's cell, she stood still for a moment. Then, as she processed the scene, complete fear surged through her body.
Wemmbu was gone.
Loppezz quickly entered the cell, making sure to close the door behind her, and observed her surroundings. Initially, she found nothing, no broken blocks, no misplaced blocks, and no invisibility particles, but when she checked the bed, she found a cat wrapped under the blanket. A cat with beautifully long, white fur and a fever. A fever?
Inspecting the cat further, Loppezz found a couple things to note. Along with his fever, he was tightly curled up and breathing shakily. It looked like he was having nightmares, and it sounded almost as if he were slightly crying.
She found nothing on the cat that could be dangerous or lead back to Wemmbu, so she got another guard to escort the prisoners to the cafeteria. She then gently grabbed the cat with her two paws and cradled him in her soft arms. Then, she carefully walked to Lettuce's office, where she hoped to not get scolded for having lost Wemmbu.
Walking down the colourless halls, Loppezz made sure the cat was comfortable and stayed asleep. She would hate for him to wake up and freak out at the unfamiliar surroundings. Chasing him down would probably be difficult, despite him being sick. Finally, she successfully made it to the office.
"Heyy, Lettuce," began Loppezz, with an awkward voice that tried to conceal her nerves. "Wemmbu may or may not have disappeared from his cell and left a cat in his place."
"What." Lettuce was not happy to hear the news. He was hoping to use Wemmbu to get a lot of people's votes in an election he was going to begin, but now he is gone. Lettuce now either had to find a different way to get votes, or not initiate the election, which he was not quite willing to do. "Do you have any idea on where Wemmbu could have gone?"
"No, and this cat doesn't seem to have any leads on him."
“Do you think that maybe the cat is Wemmbu?” Though it could be false, Lettuce thought of the possibility. He, after all, made sure to have a security that would be impossible to escape, and not one person was quite sure what species Wemmbu was.
Loppezz looked down at the white cat and thought about it. "Wouldn't his fur be purple though? Since he's normally all purple."
Lettuce thought Loppezz made a good point. "Right. Then… are there really no leads on where Wemmbu could have gone?"
"No, unfortunately," replied Loppezz, disappointed.
"Dang it," muttered Lettuce. He began to think on what he could possibly do to either find and capture Wemmbu again, or find a different solution for a boost in votes.
"What do we do about the cat?" Loppezz gestured down at the sleeping cat in her arms.
Lettuce took a look at the cat and thought for a moment. Finally, he came up with a great idea. "Cats might not seem useful, but maybe we can train this one to become a spy."
The caracal was already making a dangerous smirk. This expression was one he made when he makes a good idea and is already thinking of plans on the idea. In this case, he is thinking of training exercises and missions to give to the cat.
Cats are quiet and smart, if he could train one, he could use it to locate and observe his targets. He could figure out their routines, their plans, and attack at the right moment. This could make things a lot more efficient for Law.
Besides training, he also had to create custom gear for the cat such as armour. Lettuce would need to think of a design that can both protect and be silent. Durability and stealth would be key for a cat working as a spy for Law.
"I don't really mind the idea, but this one is currently sick with a fever," Loppezz shared her concern for the weeping cat to Lettuce.
"Then take care of it. When it's fully healed, we can begin the training for Law's newest and smallest member: Law Cat.”
