Power is a fascinating thing. Even with the shock collar, voice removal, and altogether altered code by LettuceK, Wemmbu isn't going to let himself give into what Lettuce wants. He'll get out of here. No matter how long it takes.
And, of course, Lettuce is counting on him to think exactly that. Every little move the demon makes just lands him further under the LAW's control - who would've thought that the urge to obey can fill in so many wounds in a 'person'?
OR: perhaps the best way to train a dog is to turn its own escape against it, and convince it that it wants it.

A fic where Wemmbu ACTUALLY retires and settles down in his treehouse. He needs to chill, and he does. With lots of stress and flowers and decorating his treehouse. Because in this, he actually built it himself! :D
Also, he gets a lot of visitors. Egg isn't too good at keeping secrets, it seems like. Wemmbu struggles, just a tiny bit, with trying to deal with these visitors. Especially because they bring emotions that he doesn't really know how to handle... poor Wemmbu.
