The string has always been there, wrapped around my pinkie finger as far as I could remember. My parents kept insisting I was seeing things, that 'I needed to focus on my studies'.
They weren't completely wrong—I did, indeed, need to focus on my education.
But I wasn't seeing things.
The string is not a mirage. It's real. And one day, I will find the person holding its edge.
Because in String Theory, everything is tied to one another. These are the fundamental laws particles in our universe obey.
And I guess our love lives obey them too...

Its existence had never bothered me—as it shouldn't.
Not until now. Not until I met him.
I should listen to my parents, concentrate on my studies rather than the mess I was tangled in.
One day, soon enough, I'll get rid of this link. I'll be free.
Perhaps, by those means,
they'll finally be proud...
