Summary
Light finally joins the Kira investigtion, expecting to easily defeat L. To his surprise, L was far more skilled than he had taken him for, even after their encounters in university. As the tensions rise, Light has trouble accepting the cruel joke of himself, the God of the new world, backed into a corner by a pathetic scrawny detective. But, his heart jumps.
