Where others are peaceful and content, I am a restless storm, kicking up sand and silt in my wake. I have been unable to sit still ever since I was awoken over a decade ago. Since toddlerhood, Aang has been brought up in the Fire Nation, raised alongside Zuko and Azula as the Fire Lord and Lady's adopted son. Though he often feels like the black koala sheep of the family, his love for them overshadows his trepidations. On the eve of his brother's twentieth birthday, however, Aang's world is shaken by a fated encounter, leaving him to question if his role as a royal can be reconciled with his duties as the Avatar.
