    House suffered neurological damage from the deep brain stimulation (DBS). With the only symptoms being intermittent expressive aphasia and complex partial seizures, Cuddy put him on temporary leave, hoping that he’d eventually recover and come back to work.

    Put on bed rest, he required a caretaker to ensure that he actually recuperated and didn’t crawl out onto the streets to score or get himself into trouble. The first person Cuddy looked to was Wilson.
