“So this.. This is it? Forever…?”
Fern’s words kept repeating in Money’s head, sighing as she stared at the gates. Everyone was asleep at the hotel except for her as she couldn’t seem to simply close her eyes and pretend that she was still on Elsewhere in her dreams.
Guess who won the entire season? It was Sidewalky. Money only voted for him because she thought it would be funny, thank fuck that no one actually wanted him to win. It was useless anyway, mostly because he even existed in the first place.
He had been planning to send everyone onto the island just like Money was going to do if she won and didn’t get eliminated, and that actually happened. Money tried to plead with him, saying that she was the only one who rivalled him, but that failed.
However, there was literally one person aside from him who wasn’t on the island because he was a ‘true rival’. It was David. She didn’t understand the decision to let him free at all, not one tiny bit.
Money sat down and kept her glare on the gates, crossing her arms. She would swear, but she was too tired and miserable about her fate to actually do it. She wasn’t even in the mood for speaking, despite her being the only one awake at the current moment.
At least, almost everyone was on the island with her. She wasn’t alone, but she still felt like she was right now. She could start things right again, give the others the apology she had been preparing since she got eliminated again.
Money didn’t want this. She really didn’t want this. She couldn’t ever imagine herself being trapped on the island after she rejoined because she believed that she would dominate the competition after becoming evil. Now that she was on Nightmare Island, what was she going to do now?
Escaping was the only possible option. Money wasn’t going to let anyone stay on the island for eternity, not even Needy. She wouldn’t let this happen to her, this was not going to be her and anyone’s fate. She would get everyone out of the island. For now though, all she could think about was how she could have avoided this entire situation.
Money wasn’t going to tell anyone about this, but she had actually been hiding her emotions about all of this. Maybe if she could let it out for a little bit- no! She couldn’t let herself be weak over being trapped, right? Maybe she would think wrong about that soon, but she didn’t care right now.
Money yawned tiredly, rubbing her eyes in an attempt to stay awake. She couldn’t sleep yet, she needed to process everything that happened in the past few hours. As if she hadn’t been doing so already and she was actually trying to not go to sleep and instead think of a way to get out of Nightmare Island.
Money could feel her eyes starting to close. For once, she couldn’t fight back against doing something. Should she go back to the hotel and sleep with the others? Probably not. She was already too tired to get up now.
Before long, she fell asleep, terrified and uncertain about her new home. Perhaps it wouldn’t be long until everyone managed to escape.
