Summary
The blush on Kageyama’s face reddens evidently under the candlelight. “I love you more,” he echoes it back and adds, “Make a wish.”
Hinata’s gaze stays on him for a long beat, then lowers to the flame. It flickers in the wind, melts the wax down its length.
Thirty years of his life have passed. For thirty years, he has loved and been loved. And all throughout the day, love has found its way to him, crossing the oceans and traversing the skies.
From his family. From his friends. From his teammates. From little kids to people near and far.
At four, Hinata believed he was a star. Since then, he has spent years finding stars in others. Now, at thirty, he celebrates a life lit up with stars.
