Summary
When Simon makes contact with Ryland Grace through his submarines speaker, Simon believes Grace is his savior, but slowly as the depths of the blood drive him into madness, he begins to doubt that Grace is even real whatsoever. Hallucinations, visions, and doubts begin to fill Simon's time as he slowly gives up hope.
Grace listens on the other end as Simon begins to lose touch with reality, he grows more and more determined to live up to his expectations of not only saving Earth and Erid, but also Simon's expectations of being rescued. He knows what it feels like to be a sacrifice. He can't let it happen to another.
