Peter, MJ, and Ned are in the back of the classroom whispering.
“When can we go back to the tower?” Ned says.
Peter sighs “Dude, I don’t know. We were just there last weekend!”
“Yeah, why do you want to go back so badly?” MJ whispers
“I don’t know, maybe Tony Stark wants me back there or something” Ned says quickly
MJ rolls her eyes and says “He’s called you Ted every time we’ve been there!”
“But-“ Ned tries to say something but is interrupted.
“Ok everyone, I’ve got an announcement about the field trip!” Mr. Thomas claps his hands and grins.
Ned looks up and tells Peter, “Oh my gosh, what if it’s at Stark Industries! That’ll be so weird for you if it is!”
“We’re probably not going there, we’re probably gonna go to-uh the MoMA or something like every other year but shh Mr. Thomas is talking!” Peter says nervously.
MJ looks away from and shrugs, “Hm okay. If you say so.”
“It’ll be fine” Peter says (mostly to himself).“They never do anything interesting for field trips anyway. Remember when the senior class went to the Salt Museum last year??”
“no.” MJ and Ned said in unison.
“Thanks guys, that was super helpful.” Peter said. “I actually wanted to-“
”-this year’s field trip will be at Stark Industries!” Mr. Thomas announces to the class.
Peter freezes.
What?
Ned says “Finally!” but Peter stares at him in panic.
“But, it’ll probably be boring like every other field trip” Ned tried to say nonchalantly in response to Peter.
“Hey Penis! Aren’t you scared now that everyone will find the truth about your totally real Stark Internship?” Flash yells from across the room.
“Flash! That’s enough out of you!” Mr. Thomas exclaims.
Peter didn’t even care what Flash said.
What if anyone who works at Stark Industries recognizes him?
What if the Avengers are there?
WHAT IF MR. STARK IS THERE????
His school is going on a field trip basically TO HIS HOUSE.
This will be fine! (it probably won’t be).
